Fox News has been running internet coverage of 9/11 events on an unpublished internet stream. I have been watching the coverage since this afternoon after I discovered the link was active.
At midnight EDT, Fox just rolled over the coverage and restarted it with Fox and Friends at 8 a.m. EDT, Tuesday September 11.
The Windows Media Player link can be found here: http://foxnews-foxstream.wm.llnwd.net/foxnews_foxstream

Pinging myself to watch for live feed again.
Just checked it myself - nothing. Too bad. OTOH maybe tonight I'll actually get to sleep. ;)
What is this thing you speak of... "sleep"?
*LOL*
What was the time period covered in your taping...later in the day, or the morning?
Oh, it's something I do for a few hours, once every week or so. I don't want to overdose. ;)
I could not pick up the stream either, but the post I bumped has a link to some clips out there. The audio seemed overdriven, but the substance is enough to make the skin crawl.
I have voice mail at my day job, and I guarantee you my greeting on 9/11 this year will not be typical. Was sitting at the same desk when this attack transpired five years ago. It is not something we should ever forget or neglect.
Though I am loath to admit it, I will probably try to tune into CNN's stream on 9/11 this year. Was only able to hear bits and pieces of the news that day. The following few days were riveting, to say the least. As others have commented here, a revisit to that morning brings back all the rage. I get irritable around this time of year.
The stream is live now.
bump
BTTT
As I suspected, they time synched it to the actual time of day. I'll ask the mods to put it back up in announcements.
crap. missed the beginning again ... maybe they'll do it again tomorrow
This is gut-wrenching. All my rage has boiled up again.
Feed is back up - synched with time of day (Pentagon just got hit).
I'm not toofamiliar with streaming but I just clicked on the link to see this and it started at the point after the 2nd plane hit the WTC. I'm reading where others here are watching Fox & Friends before the planes hit. Am I doing something wrong or is this going to stream over and over again and start at the beginning?
Feed is back up.
The stream initially ran from about 10pm Weds to about 1pm yesterday (Thurs). There was conjecture that it would immediately loop after the end of the stream. Apparently Fox waited to restart the stream to synchronize it with the actual time of the day.
The comments you saw are from yesterday's stream.
Thanks for the ping. I just got my streaming recorder fired up to capture the first tower collapse.
The feed is time synched to the time of day the actual events occurred. This is the third cycle of the feed. As far as catching the beginning, I would check back at two times (based on their streaming the past two days). Those times would be 12:00 midnight tonight or 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.
Also, I believe that Fox is getting ready to go public with this as there just was a short five-second clip interrupting the feed that seems to be an introduction.
So my advice is to set your watch and watch this thread for info.
