This is the U.N. once again sticking its finger in our U.S. eye. It's the U.N. that chooses what day and in what order a country's leader will speak. They are making sure the bad guys will have the last word, not Bush. The U.N. should be leveled, and the prime property sold to good old U.S. entrepreneurs who will make the land fertile once again as opposed to the vast wasteland that exists there now.

It is my understanding that he attempted to moderate a number of the more extreme aspects of islamic society but was constantly sabotaged or denied by the Mullahs, especially Kamenei, much to the frustration of the young people who had supported him and wanted liberalization of society.

When the most recent election was held around 600 candidates who belonged to his more moderate political position were disqualified from being candidates, making this most recent election a real sham.

I saw this -- this is really strange -- Why does this make me angry?

In days past this would have been called throwing down the gauntlet or the physical challenge to a duel by slapping the face of your enemy with a glove. "Seconds" would be designated and weapons chosen. The field of honor outlined. Only one combatant leaves the field of honor alive....under classic conditions. Eventually this mutated into first blood drawn goes to the victor.

Today the United Nations likens this process to a debate among civilized people.... Ahmanutjob has thrown down the gauntlet.

If we respond as we would all like to....we lose. If Bush debates him, we lose.
