Conservative Bush Bashers feel that if they attack him they are somehow morally superior to the rest of us. Fact is they are cowards who are not team players and should be ignored rather than taken seriously. They would never vote for anyone serious anyway, if they are really who they say they are??
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters
Your post begs the question, then, why so many Jewish Americans vote for democrats..
So was Clinton guilty? Bet you didnt have an opinion on that, heh?
Libby certainly has a lot of explaining to do, like why he didnt use the lawyerly, I dont recall, rather than fantasize about a conversation with Russert.
Any case of how selective use of statistics can be used to present a misleading picture. See raw data below. Fox News still has all most 2xs as many viewers as any of the Leftists. Fox owns 9 of the top 10 most watched shows. CNN best show is Larry King (not really a news show) that draws less then half the auidence Bill O'Reily draws. I suspect this is a one time bump because CNN did a FAR better job of covering the Israel-Leabanon war. This bump will probably will be gone in the Sept numbers.
I suspect another problem for Fox is is now that they have decided to be Jun Media Lite and pander to the same Leftist talking points a segment of their viewers see no reason to watch them over any of the other Trash Media shows. FOX - Aug 2005 -- 1,001,000 -- Aug 2006 -- 933,000 - 7% drop
CNN - Aug 2005 -- 433,000 -- Aug 2006 -- 584,000 - 35% increase
MSNBC - Aug 2005 -- 220,000 -- Aug 2006 -- 277,000 - 26% increase
#299, I like that expression. A "collection of Political fraggers" fits Kean in NJ just today, and of course Snarlin Arlen,McCain,Graham,Hagel, etc. None of these light weights will achieve any higher office than they have now,but since they have delusions of grandeur it will not sink in for quite a while.
It should be available in about twenty minutes and I'll watch it after that. I understand Santorum has some conservatives mad at him but he has always come across as well informed, knowledgable and reasonable to me. I would be happy to trade our own Ken Salazar for him, any day.
Thanks anita! I'll go enjoy it.
Remember the context. The President made that statement in response to a Junk Media propagandist asking him a question. He was not "getting involved in the case" It would be seen as interference if DID try to get involved.
Thank you so much! Your summaries of the shows are fantastic!!!!
... Bottom line, lets not forget plain ole "Stuck on Stupid!"
You are basically invoking Hanlon's Razor
Hanlon's razor, a corollary of Finagle's law, is an adage which reads: Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity. Also worded as: Never assume malice when stupidity will suffice.
I also like to invoke another phrase, this one a malapropism:
Time wounds all heels
Or, to lift from Shakespeare
Truth will out.
Maybe those are selective figures on FOX vrs CNN however, I find myself turning FOX off more and more. They seemed to have forgotten who brought them to the dance.
Just this morning I turned the tv off when the top story of the day is a reporting of a NYT article about GOP bloodbath in November. How is that the top news story of the day? In fact, how is a story that hasn't happened a story at all?
I can see why FOX has slipped in the ratings.
