Boycott Miller Brewing Company (30k to sponsor a pro-illegal-alien march)

Evidentally, Miller brewing company feels it's AOK to spend 30k they retained from customers like us purchasing their products to sponsor an illegal alien protest and march.

Contact Miller and let them know what you think of their new "open borders" marketing policies;

It was a little time consuming but at least there is something in their files.

Checked my email and no reply yet, but I didn't really expect anything this quick.

Do they actually brew Pilsener Urquell, or just import it?

Miller owns PU.

Yes, Stella Artois is very good. One of the many fine Belgian beers.

It'll be hard to dump my Leinie's Honey Weiss. I'll switch to Sam Adam's Light instead.

Read this recently (shortened version):

A guy went to the doctor to find out why he was having silent farts. After several silent farts and discussing the foods the guy ate, the doctor told him to stay away from certain foods, and get his ears checked.

You'll prolly end up just giving up beer, or making your own. They all support crap like this, or the gay lobbies, etc. You can't boycott everything.

Sounds like a plan, down one for me.

We're heading out to Walter Reed in a few minutes. The rain is more east of the D.C. area so we won't be getting as wet as we thought. We'll only get 99% wet vs 100% wet. Winds will keep the MOAB down tonight. And being a holiday weekend, the soldiers don't go out for their Friday dinners.

Catch you on the flip flop.

Glad to get a LOL out of you after a long week. You serious side must have given up on Thursday. Heading to Walter Reed so we'll catch you in the AM. Heaviest rain is east of D.C. so looks like we'll be standing tonight.

I'll give them a shout, (in solidarity with the cause and because I''m rabidly anti illegal alien) but Illl have to "fudge" a little about boycotting their products as I wouldn't drink that Elephant P*ss, they call beer--anymore than I would Coors--on a bet.

Strictly an Anheuser Busch man, myself, with an occasional Heini or Becks thrown in for a change.

However, the BEST beer I've ever had (and at 62 and having traveled extensively while in the AF, I've tried more than a few) is San Miguel brewed in the Phillipines--hands down, although the export is not quite the same as I used to "sample" 35 years ago in Manila and other garden spots I visited in the P.I.

I have not had a drink in 25 years so how do I boycott them?

The same way I am going to. See my post # 70.

Simply pretend your a Rat and then "fudge" with your "threat" to do so, which in itself is usually sufficient.

Um, okay Miller, In the future, when I have an urge for a Miller product, maybe I'll get some Dos Equis or Tecate instead.

I go through scores of postings and not one mentions that Miller Beer is South Africa owned.

Too bad Miller owns Pilsner Urquell. That's the only beer on the list I'll be missing.

Does Miller own any food (or other products) brands, or just beers?

Miller takes some pretty liberal positions.

The conservative choice is Coors.

I have been "boycotting" American beers precisely for the same reason, flavor and quality. Three years in Germany (Air Force} is all it takes. Becks, Warsteiner and an occasional Bitburger make me a happy camper....
