IF 1.) Gasoline prices keep going down 2.) ABC actually broadcasts that 9/11 documentary showing thet the CIA failed to kill bin Laden because Clinton was in the Oval Office with his trousers down with a fat intern and 3.) the Armitage connection gets some exposure. Have I missed anything?
Remember 4 yrs. ago...the Bush man went on the campaign trail and the GOP increased their majority in the Senate. If Bush goes on the trail this year, we'll win despite reports of demise by the drive-by media.
You are so right. Get the popcorn. Pelosi may appear in a straight jacket. I'm hopin'.
Get ready for the "sit it out" "stay at home" voices to start hitting on the RINO theme hard on FreeRepublic and elsewhere.
As I recall they were just as confident they would retake the House at this point back in 2002 as well.

They believe their own hype every time.

That's because polling services like CBS over samples Democrats by about 12% when there is only about a 3%-4% difference between DEMs/REPs. I try and tell DEMs/LIBs this and they don't care because they like the CBS polls too much. LOL!
Can't have the poster-child for Bush Delirium Syndrome going down in flames to that F'n Joo Bastid that wandered off the plantation.
Morning! I agree. The Democrats will overreact. Yep, get the popcorn.
The Dems are now discovering the double edged sword of the moonbats. Sure they raise money for you but they also motivate the hell out of the GOP voters.
Agreed. The Democrats were shocked in 2000, 2002 and 2004. They just could not believe they lost. If I remember right, 2002 was historic with the party in power not losing seats.
That's why they liked Clinton too. He told such sweet lies. Of course I love ya baby. No your not fat. Nothing wrong, nothing to see here...move along. Happy days are here again.
They need to frame the debate on national security and keep the Dems on the defensive.
People I know are surprised to see gas prices dropping because the media hasn't told them they would.
What made me laugh about that year was the MSM tried to pretend they weren't surprised by the outcome. They were stunned.
Thus the result here showing Republicans trailing generically by two points actually means they are leading by two points, with the traditional campaign season just about kicking off.
Seems like we've been through this scenario very frequently in recent national election campaigns: the Dems start out well and boast about their chances, but loose ground as voters start to grasp what's really going on out there.
And we thought Daschle was depressed after 2002? This woman may have a break down if she's not speaker next year.
Thank goodness! Good news to read this morning.
It's like when a college football team is overhyped by the media in the pre season. It can make the players relax and it motivates their opponents.
Just imagine the fury when the dems get trounced this november......
The MSM will beat the DEMS EXPECTED TO DO VERY WELL theme right up to election day. Let's not forget the phony exit poll stunt they ran in 2004.
