Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart and University of Southern California basketball player Brynn Cameron are expecting a baby in the fall, PEOPLE has learned.

Leinart, 23, one of PEOPLE's 2006 Most Beautiful People, graduated from USC in December 2005 and lives in Los Angeles and Arizona.

Cameron, a 20-year-old USC junior, will sit out the upcoming basketball season.

"It's an exciting time in their life," says a source who knows both athletes. "They both have support from their families."

No worries. Had to come back and re-read what I posted to make sure I was making sense.

who hasn't ever been romantically linked/hooked up to Paris Hilton?

I haven't ...

I've also never contracted any form of Venereal Disease.

I knew three couples that encountered pregnancy at about the same time.

One got married quickly. Within two years they were divorcing, quite unamicably.

Another was my brother and my niece's mom. They lived together for a few years after she was born, but never married. Eventually they separated, but still get along well. She lives with her mom, my brother is there often, and I don't know anyone who knows them personally who would deny that he is a damn good dad.

The third couple married a couple years after their daughter was born. They are still married AFAIK and have two more kids.

They are not having an abortion so don't don't condemn them completely.

Have you ever committed a sin? For instance, have you ever told a lie? Ever stolen anything, regardless of its value? Ever used the Lord's Name in vain? Ever looked at another (other than your spouse) with lust? If so, then you're just as guilty of breaking God's law as Matt and his ex-girlfriend are.

If you have a Bible, read John chapter 8, verses 1-11. It's a beautiful picture of God's grace, mercy and restoration. It also reminds me that before I go and vent my "moral outrage" over somebody else's acts, I had better make sure that my own house is in order. A wise person once said that our sin looks worst when somebody else is wearing it.

As I said before, I am not condoning having children outside of marriage. My goal would not be to heap condemnation and scorn on these people. My goal would be to point them to the Lord Jesus, that they might find His mercy and grace as I have.

My point exactly. Surely they had been knocking boots prior to the big contract?

Why did the cell decide to split just DAYS after Le Bron became a multi-millionaire?

Its a racket I tell ya!

Since when is pointing out bad behavior condeming someone completely?

My parents didn't marry each other when I was born. My father only saw me once in my life, when I was six months old. They both were divorced from their spouses.

My father never told his wife and other children about me. They found out, after he had died, from our cousin.

But that is still better than be aborted!!!!!

My wife and I were married for a year and half before she got pregnant. Now we have two wonder boys.

well, there are some folks in the military who might disagree...I spent years at a time away from my family, not to mention all the deployments, etc...I happen to think my wife and I were pretty good parents...

The distinction being that you were a married parent, whereas the hollywood freaks and Leinart-like athlete-animals are often not married.

If more people had the guts to express moral outrage over bad behavior, the world would be a much better place, not a worse one.

Very well put. Thanks!

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

What does that have to do with the definition of the word?

You are denying truth by looking the other way. The child is a bastard, plain and simple. Should I treat him any different? No. Should Matt Leinart made to feel shame? YES.

As long as the parents take proper care of this child

I think we've already established that they aren't doing that, by not providing him or her with both a mom and a dad in a loving home.

Next question?

I agree. The child is the one that will suffer from not having a stable home (read: raised by his mother and father rather than grandpa, grandma and other family members).

Let's hope Matt Leinart matures and gains the wisdom to become a real man. It's been a sad watching him transition since graduating USC.

Just one SC Alumni's Opinion

This reminds me of a story I read about the owner of the Indianapolis Colts.

He was deciding between drafting Peyton Manning or Ryan Leaf.

Remember at the time, Ryan Leaf was really hot stuff, and it was neck and neck with Peyton.

The owner said he literally laid awake at night, thinking Peyton . . . Ryan . . . Peyton . . . Ryan . . . He tried to compare football fundamentals, leadership, and on and on.

He said one night he finally said he decided to go with Manning. He finally settled on the fact that what he wanted in a quarterback was a player of high moral character. That led to a good work ethic and that supported good leadership on the team.

So he drafted Manning and, as we all know, Ryan Leaf crashed and burned and was totally out of football after . . . what, one season. Leaf is probably broke and in rehab even as we speak.

Leinart's future? I dunno.

"They are not having an abortion so don't don't condemn them completely."

So when someone robs a store and sticks a gun in the clerks face put doesn't pull the trigger, we shouldn't be too harsh on the perp because it could have been worse?

Bad behavior should not be condoned.
