A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

So we're here to banish those doldrums and make you smile inside! Please feel free to post sweet graphics and/or little stories that make you feel all warm and fuzzy - or just come by and give us a smile. Only two more days 'til the weekend!

The squirrels never stop, though..LOL
I Stepped Outside this Afternoon to See what a Noise was, and as I Walked Over to an Old Gate that is Nearby the House, I Noticed a Small Squirrel Sitting on the End of it, Nibbling on the Seeds of a Tall Weed Hanging Over the Fence. It was So Cute; I was Only a Few Feet from the Squirrel, and he just Payed me No Mind, and Flopped Down on his Stomach, All Sprawled Out On the Gate, and then he Began to Make Some Squeaky Noises, Sort of Chattering to himself. He was just Adorable, as he Rested from the Feast he had just Enjoyed!
It was So Nice and Cool Today! A Few Minutes Ago, Some Pretty White Flowers that Fill the Pastures were just Glowing with the Light of the Sun, Simply Stunning in their Loveliness! It was Such a Beautiful Day! Praise God for this Wonderful Weather that has Replaced the Sweltering Heat!

Hi all.. on the doggie walk today one of the pooches stepped on a yellow jacket nest. They came after John & me. I only got one bite, John 4. But it was a good day. Here is the "stick" Josy found to play with . I couldn't throw it due to sprained shoulder. Good to have my girl back. I have posted pix from here prior at Finest. It is an old car junkyard of about a dozen autos from the 40's, 50's & 60s. In a remote section of the national park - about 8 miles south of my home
Mama.. you are having some HOT weather.. is it always like that in summer where you live?

[W]e follow the example of Christ, who, when He suffered, He . . .
committed Himself to Him who judges righteously (1 Peter 2:23). Amen. Many thanks for this reminder, dear Mayor.

Sorry so late w/ my reply Peach.
Bless your heart for your greeting in between
thunderstorms yesterday!
Let that be the least of your concerns.
(Greeting me in the middle of all that.)
I trust that by now all has passed and all is well.
((((Take Care!))))
