"I refuse to be pulled into the politics of war. But once these soldiers sign up, go to war and come back to a hospital, I will do whatever it takes to make them better."
This is a couple of months old, but I decided to post it because Miss Nicks' attitude is such a nice contrast to those of Willie Nelson, Barbra Streisand, et al.

Compare and contrast to the putrid harpies of Code Pink, who stand outside VA hospitals and veterans' funerals and wave vile signs.

Nice find. Thanks for posting this. It contrasts well with the recent post about the barking moonbat Linda Ronstadt.
Bless Stevie for the good she is doing for out troops.

Good for her. This is the way the true Movie and Musical Stars of old regarded our soldiers. Only difference is their true support of our war efforts.

Maybe Martha Stewart can provide the hard fighting troops with some elegant table napkins, and Paul Newman with jars of his "Paul's Own" spaghetti sauce? Any other idee-errsfor the celebrities we worship? Oh yes, and Paris Hilton could provide her used underwear to the troops guarding the Abu Ghraib prison.

What a nice thing to do. I want our guys to have as much as possible to entertain them and to tell them how very much we care about and appreciate them.

Aside from playing at Clintoon's convention, I'll give her accolades too.
But I still live in the 70's.

Saw her years ago at Folk City on West Fourth Street (where Dylan once played) when she was the female half of Buckingham Nicks.

very cool. I wonder what the catch is. Has she given up her alleged witchcraft, too?
To: Huntress
She has also sent baby clothes to war widows, joined bedside vigils and with the United Service Organization (USO), hopes to provide every returning soldier with a music player. She adds, "Any one of them could be my own child. You can't help falling in love with every one of them." Holy smokes -- she gets it!
I'm already preparing for when she comes out in the future and blows it all with some remarks that are more in keeping with her crowd...
To: Huntress
She has always been a lady.
Well, other than sleeping with Mic Fleetwood (((shudder))))and that little Lindsey Buckingham thing.....other than that, she has always been a lady.

Her and her voice gave my teenaged loins a run for the money. And I never cared what the heck she was saying.
