ISLAMABAD: A woman Member of National Assembly (MNA) in Pakistan has said that married women in her country should not be treated like buffaloes when it comes to men forcing sex on them, and be given due respect.
Kashmala Tariq, who is also a member of the NAs Select Committee on Womens Protection Bill, proposed that a husband having sex with his wife without her consent should be tried under rape charges.
Men should not have sex with their wives against their will, the Daily Times quoted her as saying.
According to her, other members of the committee, including Mehnaz Rafi, Zahid Hamid and Wasim Sajjad, had endorsed her viewpoint.
However, Rashmalas proposal received a jolt when federal Minister of State for Religious Affairs, Dr Aamir Liaqat Hussain opposed her idea saying that it was un-Islamic to stop husbands from having sex with their wives even if they were doing so without their consent.
Oops, one correction. Marital rape is now rape under the laws of all 50 states. Sorry, that wasn't so when I was in law school. There was one holdout. Glad to say that now it's criminal rape in all 50 states.
It is ironic that those organizations have worked to change government policy and cultural standards, norms, and practices which have had an effect on society and Western Civilization that will hasten the demise of the West and its replacement with Islamofascism. The West won't be destroyed from outside. Philosophies born of the West, such as feminism and communism, will destroy it from within. Part of me wants to be around to witness this inevitability and point and laugh at the good little leftists as their heads are chopped off.
During my college years (1970's) I met some Iranians. My curiosity got the best of me and I inquired about Islam. They told me there is no such thing as "rape".
I have even seen an interview of an hispanic illegal alien. He said there was no such thing as rape in his culture.
All male dominated, I suppose.
Today I have a CCW license.
President Lincoln said that no foreign army would ever stick its toe in the mighty Mississippi or stand utop its majestic mountains. American, he said, could only be defeated from within.
Today, we have the Democrats, the Feminists, the MSM, Hollywood, Academia, and the rest.
They may well get their wish.
I guess in some cases the Buffalo is more attractive.
Dude -- Are you serious? Forced sex is the very definition of rape, whether it's within a marriage or not. If a wife doesn't want to live up to her marital obligations, it's probably because the husband is an @$$hole.

Perhaps you would know ... are there degrees of rape, ranging from sexual assault to [first degree?] rape, with recommended penalties, and is marital status normally mitigate against the rape so that, while still illegal, it is not as bad as [first degree?] rape?
Whats the big deal! Just go to the other wife.
Nah. You'll start seeing Cosmo covers about how sexy burkhas look, how sex is finally fun now that it's forced, how 15 kids is every woman's duty, how they never tasted anything as good as goat cheese, etc. The sheeple roll over pretty easily.
What's your wife say about that?
I agree. It is "un-Islamic" to not rape your wife.

""liberated women" find themselves living under sharia law."
And it's the "liberated women" that I know who feel SO sorry for the poor muzzies. Kiss your abortions good bye 'ladies'.
Well, I guess if they thought logically, they wouldn't be libs.
Question: What is a Pakistani with 33 girlfriends.
Answer: A man with a large herd of buffalos.
Yes.
; )
I thought this was a story about an islamic woman who sold the family camel . . .
The Koran passage that covers this says for a husband to go to his wife like a farmer goes to his field.
Ah-hem, that means since a farmer can plow his field all he wants......And, presumably it won't make faces, do it's nails or talk on a cell phone while he's plowing.....
