Only one commercial can top the sheer hatred our readers have for the winner of this year's worst-commercial contest. Yes, only creepy, toenail-snapping Digger the Dermatophyte is more hated than the horrendous repetition that is this year's winning loser, the HeadOn headache remedy commercial.
In case you haven't seen it (you can find it on YouTube, but really, why would you want to?), the commercial is as insanely simple as it is annoying. A female voice repeats "HeadOn: Apply directly to the forehead!" three times as a blissed-out smug woman rolls what appears to be a Bonne Bell LipSmacker on her head.
What in the name of a glue stick in disguise is going on there? First off, does anyone believe that this works any better than, say, rubbing your head with your hand? Who decided that a commercial where only the product name and tagline are repeated over and over was good advertising? What kind of drugs is the model in the ad actually on? And does anyone know anyone who has ever, ever used this product, or seen it for sale anywhere outside these ads?

You may think it's funny, but if you or a loved one ever suffered from 'Rhoid Rage, you'd think differently about it!
Sounds cool. My parakeets had no such relationship. The kittens decided they would be tasty. About the only thing we found were the beaks.
ESPECIALLY RADIO ADS!!!!! A siren or horn honk in a radio commercial gets me everytime.... I hate em!
"Head on. Apply directly to forehead."
"Head on. Apply directly to forehead."
"Head on. Apply directly to forehead."
You hate repetitious commercials? Do you remember this one?

And then there's that dopey woman that they interview: "My daughter definitely knows more about the computer than me."
thank you ... i HATE any commercial where the white male (usually a dad) is portrayed as a dope and the wife and kids are "with it", "hip" and "cool"... dad's the one humping his back making a buck for these ingrates... and what's worse is he IS a spineless twit... he probably stood side by side with his wife as she demanded the whole town bend over in favor of non-results oriented soccer
That vault advert is a real keeper!
I doubt it's Dish. I have DirecTV, and can't seem to aviod the obnoxious/annoying "Video Professor" ads, try as I might.
I believe it's the individual channels which are responsible.
Geico's cave man commercial is pretty lame, then they went and played it to death.
But only "half the time". ;o)
Bingo!
My vote goes for that one as the absolute worst of all time. It's on every cable channel repeatedly. I turn the tv off as soon as it starts, wait a minute and turn it back on.
That commercial is one of the creepiest, most repulsive ads I've ever seen.
The link to the PetSmart dachshund commercial download is on this page:

My worst of all time:
Please don't squeeze the Charmin.
I didn't, and I still won't.
That commercial has several dopey segments. I dislike the last line where Sherer tells the viewers to "Buy my product."
Meow Mix
BA$TARD! :-0
Now I have that stupid ditty running in my head!
May "Wildfire" repeat in your dreams tonight!
I hate all Hardee's commercials - but I especially hate the one for milkshakes where two guys are shaking these big cow's udders.
That was funny the 1st 10,000x they played it, but 3 years later they are still playing it with regularity it's gotten to be annoying.
The New York Lottery commericals are by far the most annoying, especially the "Chauffeur me out to the ball game" one. You people who don't live in the New York area don't know how lucky you have it to not be subjected to them
The worst ad/ads ever are not TV and they are not new, Radio Ovaltine ads. I haaaaaaaaaaaaate them. Just perfect for all the uptight moms and Dr. Laura fans.
Teazing -.^
