Spike Lee will probably be doing his best to one up Kanye West in the hate and it's all Bush's fault dept.
Good morning, Alas. Time to put the coffee on.
Talk about an all RINO Sunday!
I wonder if Lamont is ticked off because Liebermann is on by himself on CBS.
Thanks AB. Bookmark for after Church.
Thank you for posting this thread.
the world is in crisis and they have these clowns...unbelievable.
Thanks, AB
Going to the local Immigration dog and pony show today in SE PA. Any suggestions for questions are welcome.
Will enjoy reviewing the thread, as always.
There are 535 members of Congress. Why these same tired old guests? Really tiresome.
Good gosh. This is the first time I have visited this thread, and I don't watch television, so I don't see the Sunday shows, but...it seems like these are the same kind of people they have on every week!!!!
Last week it might have been Levin, Her Crusty Pantsuitness, Kennedy and Pelosi.
Next week it will be Murtha, Obama Bin Laden Barak, Ward Churchill and Cynthia Mckinney!
Good morning. The usual doofus parade this morning I see. Looks like my TV will be getting the day off. I'll get the highlights from here.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.
WOW! This is something you don't see everyday.
Once again many thanks for the thread - sorry I am late to it - blackberries and pigeons to see to. Just got to remember which ones to pick and which ones to clean and fed :o).
Let us start the day with a rant.
Chuck Hagel. This is a guy who's got to go.
What's he running for President? Okay, so folks running for President, I'll go along with this, need to provide an alternative to the current administration. I understand politics and everything, democracies.
Even the cowards and kooks deserve representation is what I'm saying here.
DO THE CANDIDATES TO THE KOOKS REALLY NEED TO COME FROM THE REPUBLICAN POLITICAL POOL?
Why can't the Democrats provide candidates for those who want to cut and run, for those who want to criticize to the side like an insane Greek chorus-pointing fingers and shout-singing as if a Stephen King movie, for those who are cowards and would just as soon die as lift a finger in defense?
The Republican party should be a little more cohesive, don't you think?
I listened to Hagel and wanted to spit and here I am working in the kitchen...so unsanitary.
They never have one single concrete suggestion. Never one word beyond the same old, same old..."didn't take enough troops into Iraq", "should have kept the Sunni army", "many mistakes".
Just the fact that these pontificating politicos are so teeny-tiny as to come out with silly talking points when they couldn't have done nearly as good as this administration has done since 9/11.
For five years, out of a nation of almost 300 million people, a nation fairly free of movement despite airport lines, we've managed to hone in on homegrown terrorists, we've managed to keep the rest of the planet on their toes as don't tell me those oversea's arrests weren't aided by American surveillance, we've managed to thwart shoe bombers and crazy American "journalists" still carrying dreams of delusion from the sixties.
All the while, mind you, keeping this economy humming and rolling and perking along. Americans live fairly peaceful lives, when all is said and done, in a world where many must constantly flee their precious homes for Hezbollah missiles and crazy North Korea keeps testing nukes.
Facts are facts. Look around. Get in your car and drive down to the grocery, or gather the kids and go on a day trip.
You can you know. With little fear of terrorist attack though hey, we all know one day it might happen.
It would have happened a long time ago had the Democrats, Biden or Chuck Hagel been in charge.
I'd love to write Dubya's after-presidency story. He's got a whole lot to tell.
Chuck Hagel is a Republican?
Are you not coming over to play with us?
Good morning AB and All, and congrats to all the winners of the past couple of weeks.
