1. This Katrina thing is getting old. I remind everyone how they tried to turn the evacuation of Lebanon into a "Katrina-like" situation. That didn't work, because most Americans were turned off by the whiners. So they are dragging ol' Ray Nagin onto center stage again.
How is this going to work? Is Nagin going to tell us how ungenerous and racist the American people are, because of George Bush? I don't think that will fly in my parish, where we donated over $50,000 and have had work teams going to New Orleans every 3 months!
My fervent hope is that Nagin comes on and blames Blanco and Landrieu! That would make my day!
2. McCain, is, as many have pointed out, emotionally unsuited for the presidency. Furthermore, my antipathy against him does not stem from the 2000 primaries, but for his behavior in the Senate since 2001! I have NOT forgotten how he held things hostage until he got that stupid Campaign Finance bill! I have not forgotten his sly jabs at the President when times got rocky! Nope, I will not support him in the primaries.
AND, should he get elected, I am convinced that the MSM, whom he has spent years sucking up to, will turn on him in a flash and attack him about his deserting his first wife, the Keating 5, his current wife's drug problems, and anything else they have gleaned from his chat sessions with reporters. Phooey.
3. I never want to hear anything from Jimmy Carter ever again.
4. I hope Shep Smith goes to CNN, which will appreciate his talents. If Roger AIles allows that creep (whom I will NOT watch) to air coffins or bodies, I will do my darndest to make sure Murdoch fires them both. Grrrr.
So not even Cspan saves the day. Yeah we should have Junk Media types on Call in Shows. People who are incompetent in their own line of work but who will arrogantly posturing as experts on topics they know even less about. EVEN a collection of guests from Left Wing "Think" tanks would be better then these losers.
Thanks for the link Anita. I had not heard of this until now.
This just makes me dislike graham even more... and that is some accomplishment! What a weasel!
LLS
Back in the days when GE was run by Jack Welch, if a division was losing money, it wasn't long before that division was jettisoned. Let's hope the current management feels the same way.
Maybe Timmy is at a Fat Farm, and he is watching his pride and joy the Buffalo Bills really stink again this year,oh the pain.....
Chuck Hagel is a Republican?
Conservative? They guy who went on national TV and threaten to launch a congressional investigation into orgies at the CIA because DHS cut a pathetic $40 mill out of the pork for New York? Hardly a Conservative.
When Hagel's appearance on FNS was announced, apparently they received quite a few emails pointing out that he is in actual fact a dem. LOL. FReepers, fess up. That part where Hagel tries to prove he's not like Lament is pretty funny...AND it didn't work.
Their correspondent on the ground referenced their handing out $12,000 to "victims", then said: "Let them come work for FEMA...that's what a lot of American journalists are saying".
Hezbollah is better than FEMA! Ha Ha Ha.
Oh, wait. I guess that has a ring of truth if one believes FEMA deliberately killed innocent victims who were doing nothing more than hunkering down in their squallid homes!)
Are you not coming over to play with us?
Juan's not on (according to the listing, it's not on here yet) so I assumed that they needed someone for Brit to smack down on his first Sunday after vacation. Did he avail himself of any opportunities? That comment you list above sounded like a good opening...
Which he just did.
But then Hagel blew the chance whining that the Republican Party has lost its way. Because, you know, they were so much more in favor of free trade and smaller government back in 1968. (How many agencies did Nixon spawn? How many free-trade agreements did he sign?)
Hey, write Ailes about that one! Since Murdoch owns Direct TV, I bet it could be done! A sure-fire money-maker! LOL!
Wonder if Spike saw the busses sitting unused in the parking lot?
Wonder if he found out what the Demo governor and demo mayor were doing during the 24 hours they mulled the administration's offers to help?
Excellent post. In my gut I always have known that they had these guests on because they knew that they could be counted on to give them the kinds of anti-conservative comments they want. But framing it as a lawyer leading a witness by selecting questions they know the answer to really exposes it for the stage managed fraud that it is. Green Helmet Guy is an amature in comparison.
Ah... the NYSlimes, WaPo model of allowing the public to "know what your Government is doing at all times". I agree with you it is sickening and we need a Secrecy act that will prosecute the press when they knowingly print classified information - if the Constitution needs to be changed so be it. BUT I suspect the problem is really with the broken Judicial system in this country.
Good morning anita...I can guarantee you that after 2008, you will not see Graham as the Senator from South Carolina.
Conservatives that elected him here generally revile him now.
