I was just going to comment on the NYT newbie. Great going Fox!! Good grief!!!
Once again many thanks for the thread - sorry I am late to it - blackberries and pigeons to see to. Just got to remember which ones to pick and which ones to clean and fed :o).
You may be on to something here, samantha. There is also unhappiness at the big-house, GE. GE already lost a nuclear deal on another part of the world. Sometimes, pocketbook politics works. If that 's the case here, it would be nice.
Just once I'd love to hear the questionee say, "You sound like a belly crawling coward and groveling appeaser. My God! Get hold of yourself, man!"
Well if he doesn't he'll get mocked at the Georgetown cocktail parties later tonight.
It's nice to see how the MSM views the war only in terms of politics. They really have things in perspective. /s
LOL.
Oh dear, Jonathan Harwood (whom I can't stand) says the war in Iraq is uniquely seen as George W. Bush's war. I see why Gregory is happy to have him on the panel.
The problem is these senators are such ego maniacs it'd be tough to convince them not to go on these shows every week.
What does he think the President does every week with radio address - speak to thin air.
Also what about the speeches made virtually everyday it is not the President's fault that the network do not cover it.
Also if the was an "official" address on TV each week the networks might cover it for a few weeks but the novelty would soon wear off and only the news channels would cover it.
My guess is that these delusions won't survive the first primary...
My thoughts exactly but of course McCain is just agreeing with the MSM invention that Bush does not keep the nation informed.
The hate they have for GW is so thorough that in concert with the DNC they(msm/dbm) will do anything to make the election about GW, his war and how it is a civl war and we should cut and run!,p> Hopefully people are not that dumb and it won't work.
Don't know how many of you heard him last week but Rush had one of the better weeks of his career IMHO! Thanks to threads provided by MNJohnnie we were able to really put up some great stuff on here last week courtesy of the leader of the New Media Rush Limbaugh.
One day MNJ had a thread that had some 900 posts unbelievable! The voice of freedom will be heard and it's here at the home of the New Media.
:o)
Anita has a very similar comment up-thread; I agree with both of you. He won't survive the primaries.
She is one of those assigned to cover Hillary Clinton for the campaign. NYT assigned 8 reporters just for Hillary.
Hagel forgets that everything he says today and has been saying that is contrary to our Conservative Republican beliefs(and can be pulled up almost in an instant) is not just going to eliminate him from higher office, but will get him fired from his Senate job. He is not a good Senator,he is not a good Republican Leader, and the more he appears on these Shows and shows his worthless butt by dissing everything Republican the more we cannot stand him and will do anything to see him defeated. What other job can you do Chuck? You will soon find out when you are fired...
Exactly, snugs.
John McCain = "ego in wingtips"
That phrase has possiblities.
