In a German interview, former President Jimmy Carter attacks almost everything President Bush is doing, both foreign and domestic.
The U.S. has the reputation of being "the world's warmonger," Carter told Nelson.
"We're the ones who sent troops to Lebanon," he complained. "We're the ones who bombed Tripoli. We're the ones that invaded Grenada. We're the ones that invaded Panama. We're the ones that orchestrated the Contra war to overthrow the Sandinistas. No other country has done that."
Carter's four years in the White House were, of course, a disastrous failure, the highlights of which include:
• The Soviet invasion of Afghanistan — to which Carter tepidly responded with a boycott of the 1980 Moscow Olympics.
• A dangerous "human rights" ideology that pulled the rug out from under the shah of Iran, a longtime U.S. ally, letting fundamentalist Islamic forces gain control of Iran. This is the root cause today of Tehran becoming the world's chief supporter of Islamofascist terror, and Iran's regime now actively seeks nuclear capabilities.

The incredible amount of deaths and suffering in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe. I lay this mountain of human misery at Carter's feet.
Oh good, I hope he does, then Hillary will take care of this little problem once and for all. No small planes, Mr. Carter, not healthy.

Unfortunately not everyone here has the same attitude -- some are openly calling for the defeat of some REpublicans, because "they aren't conservative enough", totally ignoring the fact, that if they get defeated, liberal leftist Dems get elected instead. No real conservative could possibly prefer a leftist Dem to a moderate Republican.
We must keep Congress in Republican hands -- the Dems are putting our very lives in danger with their weak policies against the terrorists.
Personally, I think Bill Clinton did more long term damage than Jimmy.
But I think Jimmy is a more disgusting human being. And very few people are more disgusting than Bill Clinton.
Jimmy Carter helped the rise of radical Islam, by his attacks on our friend the Shah of Iran.
Clinton ignored Bin Laden and gave nukes to N. Korea.
I would say they tie for the worst president title.
