MAC Cosmetics has censored Sandra Bernhard for bashing the GOP. The cosmetics giant, owned by Estée Lauder, got hundreds of complaints after it posted an online ad this week for its Plushglass lip gloss in which the balloon-lipped comic does some free-form ranting, including a riff about an "intimidated, frightened, right-wing Republican thin-lipped bitch." But Mac oddly didn't cut a line in which Bernhard cheekily discusses the bodily fluids of a horny barnyard bird.

They are not censoring for indecent content, thus the barnyard reference remains. The purpose of the campaign is to be "edgy" and somewhat "dangerous". What they are doing is eliminating something that insults a fair portion of their customers directly. Frankly, this is a good business decision.

Nobody likes to be called a right-wing Republican thin-lipped bitch. I would imagine that would make something like that would make 30% of the women in this country less likely to favor their products. Nobody wants to kiss off 30% of the market.

I am allergic to,Estée Lauder products..I cough and sneeze when I wear the perfumes..So I switched to Lancome,Poeme..If you have allergies ladies check the perfume you wear..Oh and btw,Sandra Bernhard is Queer..could be why she said those things they can't stand Conservatives the family values..and yes she is as ugly as a toad..Well even toads have better looks than she does..
