He could have left the note, taken the body and buried it? Why didn't he? Because he was on foot and didn't know the area well enough and he had more or less put a time on this horror.
Greta just said she thinks the DA has been had by this confession and she doesn't believe he murdered Jon Bonet.

Nutjob pedophile with gender identification issues (I think he was a cross dressing hooker), sick with AIDS, and about to be put in prison in a foreign country that isn't kind to child molesters, confesses to a killing he has been obsessed about for 10 years. He leaves the foreign country, arrives back to the safety of the United States, only to be found innocent of the charges. By the time he is found innocent, he's on his death bed, has a one-on-one interview with Mike Wallace and Oprah Winfrey, and the world is asked to understand the mind of the pedophile.
I've always thought, just my opinion, that the ransom note was written before the murder...that the killer was in the basement when the Ramsey's returned from the party.....he could have sat there for hours writing and waiting....then the kidnapping went wrong, somehow, and he murdered her......but I don't think this is the guy.

...but he was not about to be put in prison in Thailand...another mis-reported story from last night...The Thai PD took him into custody yesterday on the US's behalf.....

exactly right - the note was written first - it was supposed to be a kidnapping, but it went bad.
on the flipside - if the killer was someone in the household, then the note was staged simply as a diversion to make people believe someone else was inside the house. how do you make a convincing false claim that a stranger was inside your house? you say "look, they left a note". what else can you do to stage that?
BUT, they have to have one taken here with their witnesses and experts and lab certifications.
That NOTE matches this guy in many. many ways.
If the DNA matches, then they have the guy....I hope so for the Ramsey's sake.....
what about everything else then? entering the house, finding the paper and writing the notes, the strange ransom sum, how did he even know the family, etc. There are still alot of loose ends to fill in. remember, the DNA in question here - was found years after the original investigation, and its not blood or semen, its saliva-based.

Since the parents claim to not have known him, it is possible that he may have picked up the girl at school and gave her a ride home before the day of the murder, and told her not to tell anyone. Or maybe not, maybe this is all a con job.
Wow, just saw video of him, he is about the creepiest creep to ever creep creeps. Has really odd mannerisms, sorta of the passive slightly nervous poutiness that gay guys sometimes display. And does he need a bra? If this is a scam, I wonder if this is based in self-hate and disgust with himself and how his life has turned out. Perhaps some type of odd form of penance in his mind?
