An arrest in the JonBenet Ramsey case is due to happen "shortly," according to sources in our newsroom -- I know I can't post the link to our site (we're a Gannett station, and despite the "ban", I would welcome the traffic), but most of you know where I work and what the site is...
According to our sister station in Denver, an arrest took place early this morning in Thailand.
Stand by for details and updates as they come in.
If you can FRmail me the ones your buddies came up, I would like to read them.
How do you like the mentions of him bathing little girls in the resume?
That was something.

Arrest in JonBenet Ramsey Case Expected "Shortly"

That's BS about Santa. Theirs was Bill McReynolds, who is now deceased.
Karr's arrest was in April 2001 and he had his teaching credentials revoked in April 2002. There was also a charge of controlled substances with a minor in there somewhere that doesn't seem to have been prosecuted.
Or the guy could have been the Santa for the friends of the family and he was their guest at the Ramseys.
Well see what happens.
And as I said, there is also an overwhelming link between being MALE and being a pedophile.
I don't have the numebers either, but males are involved in pedophelia to the tune of XXX TIMES (XXXX%-XXXX%) the rate as normal people.
Gee, I don't know where that perception that males are frequently pedophiles comes from, how strange.
So should I protect my children from all MALES just because the overwhelming majority of pedophiles are males?
Well actually, I do, because there are simply so many sick MALES out there, of whatever sexual orientation they may have. And I hope no one tries to dispute THAT fact, because the rampant porn and child porn industry wouldn't be thriving like it is if there weren't hundreds of millions of perverted males out there.
It sounds like they are in possession of some correspondence of his, but it's not really clear right now. They have been investigating this lead since before Patsy died, so I would think they have lots more than a hunch.
Does the guy have AIDS? If not, he sure has SOMETHING.
Apparently there's quite a package of email correspondence he conducted with a CO professor who became suspicious about him and tried to string him along, trying to get more info, for quite awhile:
http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/local/article/0,1299,DRMN_15_4923202,00.html
They are being quite reticent with the details so far, but "hundreds" of emails exchanged with the prof would seem to indicate quite an obsession with the matter.
Obviously, I don't know, but he's squirrelly as all get out.
Of course not.
If you suspected the oldest brother, then you didn't know that it was proven that he was miles and miles away in Atlanta, Georgia that night.
Yes, that detail came out later.
If you suspected the 9 year old brother, then you didn't know that the police completely cleared him after several intensive sessions with police and a psychologist where his parents were not even present.
Police always initially suspect the family members because they know the victim better than anyone else. That doesn't mean they're not right, or doing a sloppy job. It's typical of any investigation, with few leads, and where there is family involved.
Looks like Ned Lament.
I too thought the pageants odd, but then saw Patsy's sister interviewed last night who said they are big in the South, and that she and Patsy ended up becoming Miss WV & getting $$$ for college. It may be a cultural thing. The other thing is, most of the famous cases of child abductions recently did NOT involve beauty pageants.
"Highly emotional" about this case? Me? lol I didn't even check my pings on this for over 12 hours. You're the one who seems to want to take your ball and go home. Let me know when you're ready to argue your theories very convincingly, lol. I'll try really hard to keep my emotions in check. lol
Hahaha.....ahhh...no wait....bwahahahahahaha....ahhhhhhhhhh..... you're funny.
I am so sorry about your son.
My 15 year old son lost a good friend a few weeks ago. A freak accident, one of those thing that will never make sense except to say "it was time for God to call him home."
He was truly a good kid. He was the leader and the workhorse.
His parents lived every parent's nightmare and God knows as much as I wanted to have magic words, there were none. I pray for you as I pray for them, May God comfort your heart.
