A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

So we're here to banish those doldrums and make you smile inside! Please feel free to post sweet graphics and/or little stories that make you feel all warm and fuzzy - or just come by and give us a smile. Only two more days 'til the weekend!

I'm so sorry to hear about Schatze, but I can see her already romping up there with weinie.
My vet here said that 2005 was the worst year for rattlesnakes he has EVER seen, but so far it looks like 2006 is going to give '05 a serious run. We have killed 4 this year near our house and/or the guest house. :(

So sorry to hear about Shatze. It's so hard when we lose our pets, especially one so young. I am thankful that we don't have rattlers in our area. I'd be worried sick about our boys getting bitten.
I love your logo, Weinie. Did Billie make that for you? It's perfect for our angel Weinie.

The apostle Paul also saw the best in every situation.Amen, may it also be said of us, and that we see every turn of events as another opportunity to know - and to serve in love, the natural overflow of the knowing - our Living, Ever-Watchful, Gracious, Magnificent, Giving-Good-Things God!
After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison,
and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully.
Upon receiving such orders, he put them in the inner cell
and fastened their feet in the stocks. About midnight Paul and Silas were praying
and singing hymns to God,
and the other prisoners were listening to them.
Acts 16:23-25
