ALERT! Fraudulent activity in NV Secretary of State race!
MSM refuses to report "as it might affect the outcome of the election".
I am Nevada's second district Election Volunteer Coordinator (EVC-2) for the NRA.
This morning I was informed by some NRA members that they have received pre-recorded calls, claiming that NRA has retracted their endorsement of Brian Scroggins.
THOSE CLAIMS ARE FALSE! I have verified that they are false with NRA in D.C.
I have not personally heard the recorded message, so I do not have the exact text available. It appears that the originating phone number ID is blocked to prevent back tracking.
In researching these false claims I learned that similar false calls are also being made in regards to other organizations that have endorsed Brian Scroggins.
It appears that there may be more than one version of the recording making these false claims.
This goes beyond mere shading of the truth, it is making false claims in another person or organizations name.
If anyone has been able to record any of these calls, PLEASE PRESERVE IT!
I would like to obtain a copy, transcripts of them are needed, law enforcement and the Secretary of States office also need them for possible enforcement actions.
If Freepers can be the ones to capture these false messages it will be another FR coup!
When I contacted Channel 8 in Reno (The news you know and trust!?) about this, asking them if they were aware of it, and were they going to report it, they stated that they were not going to report it as "It's election day, and this story might affect the outcome of the election".
So I guess that the fact that the patently FALSE claims by some one trying to sabotage a particular candidate, which might also have some effect on the election, is OK? But informing the populace of this fraudulent activity is NOT!
So much for our MSM ensuring that we remain fully informed voters. They are allowing this fraud to continue, unchallenged, and unexposed.
I personally have no great preference for one candidate over the other, beyond the NRA endorsement, but I really despise this sort of dirty last minute fraud.
Scroggins was my scout leader at one time, good guy. I voted for him via absantee ballot. If this is happening it is disgraceful.
