London plot exposes Left

Tuesday and Thursday. On Tuesday, anti-Iraq war candidate Ned Lamont beat Sen. Joseph Lieberman in Connecticut's Democratic primary. On Thursday, British authorities arrested more than 20 British Muslims who were plotting to blow up American airliners over the Atlantic Ocean.
Tuesday was a victory for the angry antiwar Left that set the tone in the Democrats' 2003-04 presidential cycle and seems likely to set the tone again in 2007-08. Thursday was a reminder that there are, as George W. Bush has finally taken to calling them, Islamic fascist terrorists who want to kill us and destroy our way of life.
Thursday's lesson was not one Tuesday's victors wanted to learn. Left-wing bloggers played an important part in Lamont's victory. Here's the reaction of one of them, John Aravosis, to the red alert ordered here in response to the British arrests: "Do I sound as if I don't believe this alert? Why, yes, that would be correct. I just don't believe it. Read the article. They say the plot had an 'Al Qaeda footprint.' Ooh, are you scared yet?"

The Left has been exposed over and over again in the past five years on this subject but unfortunately half the country can't recognize they're naked. It's what you call invincible ignorance.

You hear Michael on Hannity's show just now? Says if the election were held today the Dems would take over the House. That was jarring to hear since he is almost always right. However, he thinks there is hope the GOP will still win since voters will take a more serious look at the Dems before Nov 7. Plus no one knows how turnout will go. This has me even more nervous now.

Actually, once Chamberlain realized he had been an idiot, he changed his tune fast. He supported Churchill, built up the army before Churchill got into office and tried his best to make amends. The left will never open their eyes, never admit the there is a real war on terror and that we are all in danger. They will still be chanting the religion of peace mantra as they are being beheaded, "Oh, it's just a joke, this guy with the dull knife is just trying to scare me, Oooh, I'm scar---."

Left-wing bloggers share the ideology of the terrorists, and with those who blew up commuters in London and Madrid, and murdered tourists in Bali. They hate freedom and liberty. Left-wing bloggers are an enemy without conscience, and they cannot be appeased, because they verbally support terrorists across the world and here at home. By fighting their blogs we are confronting a direct threat to the freedom and liberty.

We also have to remember that there is still time between now and November, and we have to remember, and realize what the President of Iran " Aug 22 Surprise " is, and what he means.
By November, the US and Israel could have already ordered strikes on Syria and Iran.... who knows what is going to happen between now and November.

Yes, Michael does know what he's talking about. He's really changed his opinion from just a few months back. I understand turn out will be strong especially the republicans.

While Barone was not encouraging to the GOP, it was good to hear Pat Caddell and Bob Beckel agree the Dems are NOT a sure bet to take control of either house this year.

Maybe Michael is trying to scare the republicans so they'll vote.
Pat Caddell, I trust and Bob Beckel, I don't trust...if the dimwits can make the republicans think we're a shoe in...it'll keep republicans from voting. Remember...what they did on the east coast...during 2004...

I waded into the DUh sewer a while ago (yes, I have since showered) and viewed responses to a poll put solely to democrats. It found that 80% of rats nationwide support Lamont over Lieberman. The comments quickly devolved into congratulating themselves for not being radical at all; they were the majority, mainstream, normal and not at all the moonbats that non-moonbats would consider them.

I didn't realize that about Chamberlain, I just know the name is synonymous with 'appeasement'.
As a matter of fact, Mark Levine just mentioned him as I was typing this. LOL
The last remnants of the lefty followers will abandon their loony leaders soon, I hope.

The left will never open their eyes, never admit the there is a real war on terror and that we are all in danger. Maybe I've read too many David Horwitz' books. I've come to believe as he does that the US left knows exactly what they do. In short, they believe that worldwide socialism is inevitable, that the US delays this inevitability and thus it is moral to do what it takes to defeat the US. Oh, and as for the islamic threat, it will disappear because they will embrace socialism too.
