I second A.Hun's recommendation on assymetric warfare reading material. There's lots out there and our military takes it seriously.
A follow on to your thought, they also consider inflicting a real defeat on them as humiliating and unfair, and further reason to kill everyone in the world.
You can't win for losin'
So, kill 'em all and let allah try to keep up with the demand for virgins.
I'm going to TRY to note Howie Kurtz' thinking, but it's so convoluted I don't know if I can capture it.
His opening theme is that the bomb plot stories were overblown and too scary. Did the media overhype the threat? His guest says: "How could the media NOT report a story that public officials are terming a close call and would have been equivalent to 9/11?".
Howie's response: "Yeah, but if they were under constant surveillance, how big a threat did they REALLY present?".
I can't even begin to respond to such circular thinking. I believe liberals have finally driven themselves mad.
Chris Wallace is making the common mistake...profiling the objects and worrying about THEM rather than profiling people. Wallace also makes the mistake of thinking that throwing money at a problem is the answer. I hope listeners understand Chertoff's very good answer which focuses on the real problem, which is human ingenuity. If they want to kill you, and they are willing to die to do it, they are very hard to stop.
Yes, I skipped past his name on AB!s listing.
Chertoff is exactly right not to take Gregory's baited question on Lamont's win helping terrorist. "I don't get involved in partisan politics", Chertoff said, and then he explained why it so important terrorist see us as united in the fight against them.
But that won't impact Reid, Kerry, Pelosi, Clinton, all liberal elected officials, and the Americans who hate Bush more than they love our country. These nasty-ass anti-Americans only encourage our enemies, and I envision them cheering every tragedy that might weaken our commander in chief.
I forget what it's called, but isn't there a test that shows a person's brain wave activity? Be interesting to see if Dean has any and what they indicate.
I just flipped over at 11 minutes into the show and Johnson wasn't part of that panel. I hope he's coming up later and that I didn't miss him. He wasn't mentioned in the next segment as they went to break. They were going to get an update from a CNN reporter on Hizbollah, and talk about coverage of them. I bet they bring in Johnson at the end of that segment. They're probably setting up denounciations of him criticizing those on the ground from the comfort of his bedroom (while sitting in pajamas).
I think he'll moida 'em!
To me it is so fundamentally simple but so many people do not grasp it or want to grasp it. For to grasp it means you have to deal with it and many people IMHO are burying their heads in the sand hoping it goes away. It will not!!!
LGF's Johnson has not made his appearance on CNN yet. I'm watching and waiting. 10:17am EST
This ought to be amusing.
LOL. You know he does. "I asked him the really tough questions." In current parlance "tough" meaning "rude" or "stupid" or both. Too bad Gregory is incapable of listening to the really "intelligent" answers.
Did anyone just see Nancy Giles buttkiss Bin Laden and Saddam on CBS?
More proof democrat/libera;=terrorist supporter.
No one except the NYT and Cair would complain. Please do what needs to be done !
Lots of calls for racial profiling have been made this week. It was said that we "look for the weapon", while the very successful Israeli's "look for the person." They briefly talk to each passenger
Lamont says we should get out of Iraq and that then we can keep Iran out of there...no, really, he said that.
CNN
You'd think after all the MSM exposures of intentionally misrepresenting the news, CNN's Howard Kurtz, would change the name of his {Laughably}, Reliable Sources.
Jeffrey Goldberg, New Yorker, says, ,"No, of course the American media doesn't hold Hezzbolah and Israel to the same standards."
David Folkenflik of NPR says there are distinctions, they hear complaints MSM doesn't hold Israel accountable for civilian deaths.
Goldberg made fun of 'parachuting reporters' not being very good at reporting. How they point "this way is Lebanon", "this way is Syria". I think he must be talking about Shepard Smith, who's emotional reporting has been full of directional pointing, especially when the explosions are close to him.
In back of CNN reporter Brent Sadler, in Beirut, is a civilian man and a PRESS cameraman, doing the 3 cheek kiss with each other.
Lamont on FOX NEWS......"He's got Betty Davis eyes". LOL...he's got Pelosi eyes!!!
Lamont; "The iraqis won't stand up until we stand down."
What a POS!!~!
"Dean: We need a new direction."
He is suggesting the direction be East-West!
It is coming to that Phsstpok. It is also time to start pointing out the real threat of far left dems to our security.
