USMC Pilot in the making..!

Say hello to my USMC daughter who got her greens today! She is bouncing of the walls and ready to do what her country calls on her to do. Yep I'm proud. Her sister is also serving as a USMC officer. I have 4 daughters and my "baby" boy will be born (my wife is going in to be induced on Sunday) on 8-14-06. Please keep our family in your prayers. God Bless our Nation and those who defend her.

Semper Fi from a Marine Dad of an active duty Marine (son, SSgt.) and a daughter who got out of the Marines before 9/11.
I know your pride and know why you posted your thread. Congratulations.
Only problem of your daughters being officers is that you missed the boot camp graduation. But watching two of my brothers graduate as officers was also stirring.
Best of luck to them. If she make it to Quantico, VA., for further training, there are a lot of FReepers around here if they need anything.

When I came back from overseas in the early 50s I coached some WM's on the pistol range. We were told that these were the first WM's to get small arms training. As I recall they Fam fired the .45 and qualified with one of the short barreled .38 specials. Didn't have any problems and they all qualified.
