Ok, maybe this is a vanity. But so be it.
Today, it was announnced that a majopr terrorist plot was averted. One that would inviolve the downing of multiple airliners en route to the USA from the UK. Once again (big surprise) it appears that it was islamofascists that had put the plot together. Well, I for one am VERY thankful for the capture of these terrorists, and understand the need for the increased security measures being put in place at transportation centers around the country. I am proud of my president and those responsible for foiling this plot.
But it does not appear that all feel this way.
About 2:00 this afternoon, I heard my bosses wife speaking loudly on the phone. It did not take long to figure what she was talking about (it was something like this):
"Yeah, I saw him on tv. This is all his fault!! He lied. he's a liar!! I mean, have you ever paid attantion to him? he cant even speak in a complete sentence, without saying..uh..um..uh... The man isn't very smart. I mean, he doesn't show much class!!....Well, what about the Iraq mess? Would you want your son to go over and fight in a senseless war where thousands of our kids are being killed or maimed for no reason??"
And so on..and so on........
Sigh.
I just wonder: WHAT will it take, for the "unwashed masses" to wake up in this land of ours?? How much longer will they continue to believe the lies that the drive-by media spout, such as Bush is the cause of all of the terorism in the world, and that 9-11 was engineered by him and is cohorts for "big oil"??
How much longer will they continue to believe that "the way to defeat terrorists is to all get together for a big hug, sing chants to gaia(or whoever) and sign friendship cards together??
How long will it be before they realize that the "illegal wiretapings" and such is actually working, to intercept plots like this??
There WILL come a time, (hopefully sooner than later) where the vast majority of Americans will say"enough is enough!!" NO MORE" trying to understand the " motivations or feelings of terrorists" No more worrying about "terrorists rights" . Instead it is TIME TO KICK SOME A$$ and take some names!! If you are a terrorist, you WILL be dealt with harshly and QUICKLY!! If you try to enter this country illegally, you will BE STOPPED!! If you attack us or Israel, you WILL be CRUSHED!! and if you dont like the way we do this in America then get the #### OUT!!
It WILL come to that!! The only question is WHEN??
Will it be after a mushroom could rises over a major city?? Or after a major chemical or bio attack on a subway?? Or after an attack on the power grid??
Hopefully, it will be BEFORE those things!!

Some people will never wake up. Their defense mechanism is the illusion that there is no threat of terrorism. You can see them in action over at the DU, if you care to. I don't. Complete waste of time.
When 1,000,000 die in WMD attack by Islamofascists. That is when the west will start to wake up. After 2 or 3 of those, they may be fully awake - but then again, maybe not.
I think it would be along time before America went back to sleep.
Another attack, and you will see dead Arabs in the streets in America. I'm certainly not encouraging it, just predicting it.
You will see mosques burned to the ground.
We are slow to react because we are divided by politics and social structures. If those divisions melt away, we can be a pretty fierce opponent.
It will very much change the fabric of America.
Libs never wake up. They are partisan in every circumstance. They are the walking dead. A muslim could be in the midst of sawing a liberal's head off, and all the liberal will be thinking about is how he can turn the event against George Bush. Same thing with nukes going off in our cities. Libs won't wake up. Ever.

Such an informed bunch we are. Too busy with their petty little lives, sports events, soccer practice, hip hop music, and other such drivel to even notice that our country is being attacked EVERY single day.
I think secretly -- and in some cases, not so secretly -- all of them do. Another thing to try to pin on Dubya. Even if it won't stick, to a democrat it's worth a try.
Well I`ll tell you, what the #1 problem is, is the media as we have seen in the past week with examples by Reuters and last month with the New York Treason Times. If the media bashed or unsurped terror as much as they do to the the US, I think the public would have a more agressive stance against the Islamic psychos. Not all democrats are like Cindy Sheehan or Michael Moore, but the relentless hammering by the press makes a lot of them think the war on terror is a complete and utter disaster which is why Lieberman lost to that absolute and complete effin` lunatic, trust fund baby, moveon.org puppy, whites only country club member, Ned Lamont.

US and Israel are the Islamists' main targets, everything else is secondary.
They don't like the contrast and what it says about them.
