Indicators observed by independent Iran watchers during the past week are raising the question that nuclear-seeking Iran is not merely playing a serious game of brinkmanship, but is actually preparing to strike at Israel, European and US interests.
Headlined "Iran declares war," a May 11 editorial in the New York Sun expressed the belief that a recent letter written by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, which had been widely interpreted as a peaceful gesture, "is in fact a declaration of war."
According to the Sun, a coded message is contained in the closing section of the eight-page letter. While the rest of the message had been translated into English, the salutation in had not. It reads "Vasalam Ala Man Ataba'al hoda" and means "Peace only unto those who follow the true path."

I think that whenever Iran strikes against Israel they will also give the order to violently activate the various Hezbollah cells which are already here in the U.S.
Well we certainly ought to prepare in case Iran attacks. But I bet they won't - they have never attacked directly - they let others actually take the risk.
On the other hand, we don't often have so much heavy equipment and manpower so close to Iran.
They might win the first twelve minutes of the battle, but they'll lose the war.
I'd very much like to think you're right, but all this "religion of peace" and "tolerance" nonsense makes me wonder.

It is my belief that Iran has already developed and enriched enough uranium to make a small nuclear weapon, and will(has?) supply it to Hezbollah to fire into Tel Aviv. August 22nd is the day that it will be fired and all hell will break loose across the middle east and Europe and quite possibly Major American cities............
But, will WE have the intestinal fortitude to "deliver" them? Will the UN Security Council types forbid any retaliation on the part of Israel via the US?..........
it would be nice to have a star wars system in place to determine intent, suppress the assault.... and then level both syria & iran.
something that should not be overlooked is additional aggresion and assault could come from other islamic states.....

I think you're right, Red Badger. August 22 may see a nuclear strike from Iran against Israel, using an Iranian missile and a North Korean warhead. That's the "Light over Jerusalem" that AmaddenedJihad has been blustering about. Then the Hidden Imam will re-appear and usher in a new global caliphate. Over my dead body.
It will be interesting to see if President Bush starts attending prayer meetings in his neighborhood Mosque or have a towelhead by his side at all times.

I believe Iran sees this as a national suicide attack. Ahmadinejad seems perfectly willing to turn his own country into a smoking ruin if he thinks it will bring about the islamic version of the end times.

Islam offers infidels three choices:
1: convert to islam
2: submit to islam as an infidel, pay your jizzya and "feel yourself subdued"
3: lose your head.
AmaddenedJihad's letter offered the west a chance to convert. We didn't, so allah has officially sanctioned Iran's next act, which is a nuclear strike on Jerusalem.
I think it may be time for some nuclear therapy.
