Indicators observed by independent Iran watchers during the past week are raising the question that nuclear-seeking Iran is not merely playing a serious game of brinkmanship, but is actually preparing to strike at Israel, European and US interests.
Headlined "Iran declares war," a May 11 editorial in the New York Sun expressed the belief that a recent letter written by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, which had been widely interpreted as a peaceful gesture, "is in fact a declaration of war."
According to the Sun, a coded message is contained in the closing section of the eight-page letter. While the rest of the message had been translated into English, the salutation in had not. It reads "Vasalam Ala Man Ataba'al hoda" and means "Peace only unto those who follow the true path."

I'm sure that WammadammaDingDong would feel that having to rebuild the Mosque and creating a bunch of more martyrs would be worth it to bring on the hidden Imam.
He did, but Bush41 ended their careers and Clinton42 "gave" them to the Chinese. Unless Bush43 has secretly reinstated them and their manufacture (I believe they were "banned" by strategic arms agreements), they remain no longer a part of the United States' strategic defense plan.

Old article, but it reinforces "no more exist in the USA", and because the half-life of the tritium necessary for a critical event would have since expired from the date of the last's manufacture, those that were deployed would no longer be considered "servicable". This article states tritium's half-life is is 12.3 years.
But don't settle for my word on the subject....there are plenty of resources available to find out all that info.
Actually, it is more attributable to Bush41 and Colin Powell.
Wooden or steel?
Surely there must be a lot of focused attention on Iran and they're missle launching arsenal going on. I would be very surprised if a nuke made it off the launching pad.
However, if a strike with a WMD from Iran DID hit Isreal, I would assume that it was "allowed" to happen. What that means I cannot say, but not everyone who says they are a friend of Isreal IS a friend of Isreal.
Bush would not worry about politics if we were attacked. If attacked, he would act.
Today Col. Hunt said that if Israel hits Syria, Iran could get involved and the US would have to get involved to help Israel. He said under this scenario, prepare for a draft.
Explain please. AFAIK, it was Jimmy Carter that cancelled development and testing of the neutron bomb. What was Bush 41's and Colin Powell's involvement in that decision?
Well, *when* the US and others (and they will) find out that Iran has enriched this uranium, there would IMO be a nuclear response against Iran. Their country would cease to exist in its' present form.
What more concerns me is Iran's ability to fire an EMP type weapon. Folks better work on making ready their Faraday cages...
I don't think a Faraday cage would be effective against EMP. Beryllium-gold-nickel boxes, maybe............
It could provide some protection against a small device. But I bet you're right ona much larger weapon.
I've always been concerned about what these weapons could do to a nation that relies so much on technology. Not good...
Imagine, a nation where remote controls everywhere are non-operational anymore.............Peace-Love-harmony will reign once more..............
Iran would have no problem igniting a nuke that would render the whole area unlivable for hundreds of years.
Granted fallout would fly all over the Middle East and the President of Iraq would not care IMO.
"I think you're right, Red Badger. August 22 may see a nuclear strike from Iran against Israel, using an Iranian missile and a North Korean warhead."
North Korea and Iran have been cozy for years. Iran also had something like 10 representatives present at the missile tests from NK July 4.
"I visited the site and have my doubts also."
Ditto for me. I don't buy the whole Bible code bit.
Not as crazy perhaps, but much more fanatic. You have to remember the place is run by a bunch of Cardinal Richelieus, in turbans, and without the diplomatic sense, or craftiness, of His Eminence.
They'll either smuggle it in, chancy at best, or they'll launch a bunch of Scud type rockets, one or more of which will contain the magic pea.
We didn't have any problem with dropping 2 nuclear bombs on civilian targets in Japan and we would have kept dropping them on other civilian populations as fast as we could make them until Japan surrendered. And we are the good guys.
Do you think Ahmadinejad will have a problem with using a nuclear bomb on us Infidels. Especially the Infidels (Jews) occupying Muslim land. (Israel)
For a Muslim to have the means at his hand to obliterate the Jews and not do it is about as sure a way for a Muslim to go to hell.
When I say Muslims I am refering to the Muslims like Ahmadinejad, and Zarqawi and a host of others who holds the strong Islamic beliefs originating in the Koran and Hadiths; and I am not referring to the worldly Infidel ass kissing Muslims like King Abdullah of Jordan, Musharraf of Pakistan, and a host of Muslim heretics in Iraq who want democracy instead of Sharia law.
Ahmadinejad has to be dealt with. He won't get buck fever when it comes to killing the Israelis in a nuclear attack-or us either. - tom
They were the two who removed the neutron bomb from America's tactical arsenal after Reagan fixed the mess Carter authored.
Bush can't attack Iran....but if they attack us, the people will certainly demand retaliation....even that new wingnut from CT.
