Reuters Doctoring Photos from Beirut? [photo inside]

OK, now things are getting weird.
This Reuters photograph shows blatant evidence of manipulation. Notice the repeating patterns in the smoke; this is almost certainly caused by using the Photoshop “clone” tool to add more smoke to the image. (Hat tip: Mike.)
It’s so incredibly obvious, it reminds me of the faked CBS memos. Smoke simply does not contain repeating symmetrical patterns like this, and you can see the repetition in both plumes of smoke. There’s really no question about it.

WOW, so it's looking like the Roto-Rooters photographer didn't even take the original shot, but grabbed someone else's and photoshopped the smoke? If that's not a death sentence for a journalism career then there really are no standards left....

Amazing how a photographer could have EXACTLY the same vantage point as another photographer at two separate times. What? Are their feet painted on the ground marked "STAND HERE AND TAKE YOUR PICTURE"? Same size. Same city. Different smoke, but we know why.

Actually, the building in the break in the smoke coulmn on the left looks suspiciously like the building in the foreground at the base of the column. I suspect, (although I am no expert) that this is far more doctored than that.
Of course, I am not allowing for unimaginative architecture, either.
