OK, now things are getting weird.
This Reuters photograph shows blatant evidence of manipulation. Notice the repeating patterns in the smoke; this is almost certainly caused by using the Photoshop clone tool to add more smoke to the image. (Hat tip: Mike.)
Its so incredibly obvious, it reminds me of the faked CBS memos. Smoke simply does not contain repeating symmetrical patterns like this, and you can see the repetition in both plumes of smoke. Theres really no question about it.
Smoke billows from burning buildings destroyed during an overnight Israeli air raid on Beiruts suburbs August 5, 2006. Many buildings were flattened during the attack. REUTERS/Adnan Hajj
There is very blue sky in the smoke and at the top of the building it seems different.
Also, I think the smoke was rotated 90 degrees clockwise.
Are they (Reuters) also guilty of the same logic used by Dan Rather? It's OK if it's not real, it's "fake but accurate."

I wish the lamestream media would report the important fact that only 1 % of violent crime results in a jail sentance and look into the fact that criminals are walking around all over the place. Maybe it is high time we out all the criminals who got off on a technicality or even worse were never arrested. I believe that figure is only about 7 %!!!!

Haven't you heard? The latest release of Photoshop includes a smoke tool.
Hey, there. Could ya do a lookup to see who it was that coined, "Enemedia," first on FR?
Just pointing out the total idiocy of your point. Many UFO pictures have been disproven without the original. You suggested the original was needed to disprove the authenticity of a photo. Can you admit you were wrong yet? Or are you as illogical as you are blind? You can't see the identical smoke patterns? Time to get glasses!
I can think of one reason to doctor the pic--to make it look as though the bombing was in a more densely populated area and caused more damage than it did.
LOL
Reuters is an Arab owned news service, no?
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
English.......same thing!
The shadows on the ground may be key here, too - someone with some photo-analysis experience could probably tell the basic shape of the original plume based on the shadow that they apparently didn't bother to doctor.
It would seem so. Just checkout the responses the EU Referendum folks have been getting about the Qana expose
http://www.eureferendum.blogspot.com/
is the child dead? was the child killed by Israeli bombs? If so, the picture illustrates the story. If the picture does not alter the truth of the story, we're not being disingenuous. And the truth of the story is this: Israeli bombs killed several civilians in Qana, many of whom were children.
In other words,
That would be the Jihadi Special Edition.
I hope you are right. Don't think it will happen however. Never underestimate the MSM's ability to deny the obvious.
Not likely, the distortions are consistent with what I have to clean up when I modify jpgs and bitmaps. When I first started modifing pics I used MSpaint and worked pixel by pixel one at a time until I got the desired result.
Not that symmetrical. Each plume of smoke wouldn't be from an identical fuel type and volume as in a cigarette. Even if the wind was perfectly constant (a near impossibility) the plumes would be different.
