QUEERLY BELOVED
A homosexual-activist police officer assigned to security at a Promise Keepers men's conference in Florida is being investigated for threatening members of a Christian organization petitioning for a state constitutional marriage amendment.
"I have never in my life seen such unprofessional and bizarre behavior from a law enforcement officer," said John Stemberger, the president and general counsel of the Florida Family Policy Council.
"This kind of ridiculous harassment and intimidation was meant to thwart the effort to protect marriage in Florida. It should remind all of us that we are engaged in a culture war. "

I don't know about anyone else but I don't kiss other guys even if it was a joke. I'd have to throw up afterwards.
It's a good thing they had the camera to document this.
so tolerant, inclusive and diverse, that little gay enforcement officer.
Is the gay cop is threatening the statight males to spank their rumps with his night stick?
Typical homosexual activity when in positions of petty authority. They always abuse their position. That is why they need to be curtailed and desperately need to be stopped from implementing their agenda.

"Officers then physically removed the petitions from 'public view' on the table at the exhibitors tent," the council said in a website update of the situation. "Two of the male officers mocked the volunteers by kissing each other after they initially removed all the petitions from the area."
-snip-
In the actual confrontation, Stemberger was called after the officers removed the petitions. He sought further legal counsel from Rick Nelson of American Liberties Institute and then confronted Sgt. Allen.
He said he asked the sergeant what law or ordinance was being violated by the petitions and Allen simply responded with a not-entirely accurate lecture on Jesus' view of homosexuality in the New Testament and the statement that the petition was a "waste of time."
Ah, yes. The old "waste of time" law. I recall it well. /sarcasm

Where are this cops friends, the Indian, the Biker, the Construction Worker and the Sailor?
Those "officers" need to be removed from duty.
Whatever town would hire them needs to be defunded as well!
This is from the MISTAKEN notion that the IRS forbids non-profits from petitioning on ISSUES.
This is an ISSUE not a candidate and was 100% legal. Not only should they sue, they should force the police department to provide protection of future petitioners FOR FREE. Perhaps even require the police department to post a link to the petition on the website as part of "sensitivity training" and proper civics education of the officers.
Somewhat paralleling pedohpilia behavior? If so, as your second statement implied, then equal public sentiment / law should equally apply to both perversions, IMHO.
This is not a law enforcement officer who happens to be homosexual.
This is a gay activist who happens to have a badge.
I see a couple of cops who need to be thrown off the public tit. (And into jail if they really harrassed the petitioners!)
Fire their asses and blacklist them from any police and security jobs. They don't deserve a position of power.
