Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: Hitler in the Twenty First Century In a speech in Malaysia on Thursday, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called for the destruction of Israel once again, saying that "although the main solution is for the elimination of the Zionist regime, at this stage an immediate cease-fire must be implemented."
Ahmadinejad, who has drawn international condemnation with previous calls for Israel to be wiped off the map, said the Middle East would be better off "without the existence of the Zionist regime." Israel "is an illegitimate regime, there is no legal basis for its existence," he said.
British Prime Minister Tony Blair reacted with astonishment, while French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy condemned the remarks (also see commentary from Captain's Quarters on France's reaction). The statements by Ahmadinejad should in fact not have astonished Blair or anyone else, as this is the vision of the Iranian leadership.

There are many more quotes of this nature by Hitler, who quite openly spoke about his hatred and distain for the Jewish people, years prior to the holocaust. But perhaps even Hitler wasn't as emboldened, defiant and openly brazen as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is today. With Hezbollah, al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations doing Teheran's bidding, a large conventional military, a nuclear program marching down the road towards weaponization, and long-range ballistic missiles capable of deadly strikes, Ahmadinejad's Iran may pose a greater threat then Hitler did prior to September 1939.
Worth pointing out, as Jeff Kouba noted in a Security Watchtower briefing yesterday, is the fact that Iran's vision of hostility isn't exclusive towards Israel by any imagination.

Hitler received the same rude awakening that Ahmadjihad is going to receive when the last breath is taken, and the sudden revelation and realization comes forth:

I maintain that the Iranians are more dangerous than the Nazis were. Both were genocidal cultures, but the Iranians have hundreds of millions of sympathizers and allies spread all over the world (many in Western countries). The Nazis had many fewer followers, concentrated in Germany. Germany was not in a position to cut off vital resources to the world. Iran controls a substantial fraction of a vital resource (oil), and has sympathetic allies who control perhaps 80% of the world's supply. The Germans had a strong military and industrial complex, but no nuclear weapons. Iran has a substantial military, little industry, but has allies that can provide materials it needs. It will soon have nuclear weapons that it is anxious to use (or provide to terrorists). This makes them able to inflict casualties on a much more massive scale than the nazis, and makes difficult to attack without receiving massive casualties.
The US, Britain and Israel are the only mations actively opposing the Islamo fanatics, mainly because the US or Israel will be the first to get hit with an islamonuke. the rest of the world can just stand by until it happens, then figure out what to do later. Their azzes are not on the line.
I couldn't agree with you more. In my view Bush should be before Congress today asking for a formal Declaration of War against Iran. They have been at war with us since 1979. We can blockade their ports and bring their economy to its knees. We should do so promptly while there is still time and before they get the bomb. After that happens they will bomb Israel and we can all bend over and kiss our backsides goodbye. Radiation knows no national boundaries.
Germany was longing for nukes and had the missile program. The whole idea of concentrated anit semitism might have been entirely mad or just raging mad but with an eye on the support of the anti semitic people of the world.
And anti semitism of that time was a globaly spread virus. There where whole shiploads of jewish refugees in NY harbour send back by immigration officers knowing well what their fate was once they returned to germany.
It was a war against germany, italy and japan - not against anit semitism and not to stop the holocaust.
