A French language Lebanese publication, citing an unnamed source in Hezbollah, has claimed that the organization placed a rocket launcher on the roof of the notorious building in Qana to provoke an Israeli attack and brought invalid children inside to serve as victims and blacken Israel's name.
The Lebanese magazine LIBANOSCOPIE, associated with Christian elements which support the anti-Syrian movement called the "March 14 Forces," report that Hizbullah masterminded a plan that would result in the killing of innocents in Qana, in an attempt to foil Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora's "Seven Points Plan" calling for deployment of the Lebanese army in southern Lebanon and the disarming of Hizbullah. The magazine reported:
"We have it from a credible source that Hezbollah, alarmed by Siniora's plan, has concocted an incident that would help thwart the negotiations.... Hezbollah gunmen placed a rocket launcher on the roof in Qana and brought disabled children inside, in a bid to provoke a response by the Israeli Air Force. In this way, they were planning to take advantage of the death of innocents and curtail the diplomatic initiative," the site stated.
The site's editors claimed that Hezbollah staged the event because of Qana's symbolic significance: "They used Qana because the village had already turned into a symbol for massacring innocent civilians, and so they set up 'Qana 2'." The incident has indeed been dubbed "The second Qana massacre" by the Arab media.
The scenario described, which has yet to be confirmed by a named source, would explain the fact that the victims were not residents of the building and also the disproportionate number of small children and the lack of adult males among them.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Red Cross reported on Monday that only 28 bodies, 19 of them children, were removed from the rubble. The count is half that of the 50-60 bodies still being reported by news agencies, quoting Lebanese security officials.
Of course...watch em do it again and again...All in the name of Allah.

Did they fix the raod between Qana and Tyre yet? The road Hezbollah said was "destroyed" and couldn't be used to evacuate the kids from town? The road all the reporters used to visit Qana that very morning, and said was perfectly usable, with no bomb damage whatsoever?

CNN fed off this Hezzie setup for days. The little broken bodies, etc..(Oh, the humanity). Not a peep about Israel dropping leaflets telling people to get out. This am, they're in mourning for Castro. A tad early, but what the heck.
Heard early this am...Israel is telling Lebanese to leave and go across that river, not just to the river, but all the way across. Evidently a demilitarized zone would include all the land up to and including that river. There was some thought that Israel would accept a narrow demilitarized zone...(easy to tunnel under).

Anything to isolate Israel, to condemn them and to keep them from truly defeating those huzzyballer dudes.
The world, the incident moved many in the world to voice nonsupport of Israel. The war of propaganda is not only being fought in media across the globe, but in the blood of innocent children being used as props. Make no mistake about it. These are not scenes being staged in Hollywood, but real death scenes being staged with real innocents. We, the world, are losing the propaganda war. The price of that war is being paid for in blood & death.
It is critical that in the mind of the jihadi these children were martyrs for allah. In fact, based on their culture of teaching children to 'love allah unto death' these children probably knew their fate. Note they didn't pull any armed guards out of the rubble, there were no men in the collapse of the building. A few women and many, many children by comparison. They may have gone to their allah willingly.
The "world" was predisposed to turn on Israel. Any bad incident would do. As it happens, this one is probably a lie. It is just too convinient for this to happen ten years after the last Qana incident.
Question for the libs: How does you negotiate with people capable of this?
2nd question: And why in God's name would you even want to?!
