Well, the "International Community" talks cease fire, but they can't offer anything that would be remotely acceptable to either Israel OR the hezbos. Imagine a "force with teeth" led by FRANCE. Gimme a break. Non starter.
Balbeck is in the Bekaa Valley in far NE Lebanon, next to the Syrian border. It is the central stronghold of Hezbollah, Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Syrian troops (if any).
But more importantly, this is where most experts believe the WMD's from Iraq ended up. Israel, by doing this, shows just how important the Bekaa Valley is to them and taking out any possible WMD's would fall into this.
What would be a really nice touch would be for the Israelis to overrun the town of Baalbek and capture a scaddillion of the longer range missiles, turn them to the east ... and without checking the content of their warheads fire them on Damascus and Teheran from whence they came. My guess is the Syrian-Iranian problem would cease to exist.
Excellent point. Think we can get some oil producing land? Just a few wells???
OXYMORON ALERT!
"Doing the job America won't do."
How in the world can IDF take on Iran? Syria, yes, I can see that. But Iran? How do you see that fight occuring? Or do you mean just the nuclear sites in Iran--all 18-20 of them??
If that's true, maybe they have intel saying that's where their 2 soldiers are...
Are there two of these in the foundation of what appears to be a prehistoric temple? I might mention Sitchin, who has an entertaining speculation but that would hijack the thread since it is much more interesting than a raid on an enemy stronghold.
Night time insertion. Air cav I presume. Not sure they have the capacity for a large volume 'parachute'-from-planes action. Have to do some research.
As long as you weren't stuned buy ur beeber, and pwn3d, you're ok. Anybody like cheese?
That is the best idea I've heard yet!
Now it's the Syrians' move. My guess is that Condi hasn't been idle.
Some say Jupiter is none other than Japheth, son of Noah.
>>Syrians' move.
Probably a BM at this point...
The 48 hour cease fire seems to have been a strategy. I would bet men and supplies headed south.
I wonder if this type of action is what Syria has been warning against.
