A leading Republican senator said President Bush should call for an immediate Israel-Hezbollah cease-fire. “The sickening slaughter on both sides must stop,” Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) said Monday on the Senate floor.
Hagel said the U.S.-Israel link is special, but said that the link should not come at the expense of relationships with the Arab and Muslim worlds. Hagel is a possible contender for the Republican nomination for president in 2008.

Personally, I have been calling for Israel to stop for over a week now with the following reason.
1) They stop for 48 hours and if rockets come in, they absorb the loss.
2) After 48 hours of being hit unilaterally, they flatten Lebanon.

We need to seriously target every Rino Senator that can possibly be replaced with a conservative., Some places it will be tough but how the hell did Nebraska get to be a liberal bastion, I thought it was mainly corn fields.
