U.S. To Block U.N. Denunciation of Israel
Arutz Sheva ^ | July 30, 2006

Posted on 07/30/2006 12:36:49 PM PDT by West Coast Conservative

The United States is expected to block a United Nations Security Council resolution denouncing Israel for the killing of about 60 civilians in the Lebanese village of Kana Sunday morning. Israel has said that the explosion in the building that caused the deaths may have been caused by stockpiles of Hizbullah weapons and not by the Israeli attack.

The Council is taking a recess at this hour and will resume its meeting in two hours.

Boltons the man!!!

No, Bush is the man. Bolton does not veto any UN resolution without approval from the WH.

Big deal! A U.N. Security Council condemnation and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee.

Where is the UN's denunciation of Hezbullah for the killing of Israeli civilians? Where is the world outcry at the missiles falling on Israeli cities? Why does the MSM only show muslim civilians and children injured and no Israeli's? Exactly what is it we are witnessing?

What a bunch of idiots! Don't they realize that Israel is democratic Lebanon's only hope. If Israel loses, Nasrullah will swallop the country whole.

The real criminal activity would be if the IDF knew missiles were coming from a site and failed to strike it. These missiles are aimed at Israeli civilians! Where's the UN condemnation?

I don't care is Snowwhite and the Seven Dwarves were in the building in Qana. The UN has got to go!

How can they "denounce" Israel for doing what the UN was itself supposed to do?

Hezbollah built its power base and infrastructur and armed itself on the UN's watch. They stood by and watched for years as Hezbollah fired missiles into Israel, and has made no effort to disarm them or move them back from the border.

They are forever proving that "open enrollment" multilateral organizations are incapable of confronting terror, because there are only a few countries, politicians, and soldiers with the grit to do it. The rest either fear them or agree with them.

And again they prove that this particular multilateral organization is devoid of any moral sense. How could it be otherwise? Again, anyone can join, corrupt, autocratic, genocidal, deranged, they are all welcome and they all get to vote. Why would you ever ask the UN's opinion about anything?

Lesseee... you fire rockets from a civilian center, and then when the other guy blows up your launch site, you drag out the bodies and call them a murderer....

Reminds me of Saddam in the first war where he put radar on top of a bomb shelter and used it for PR when we hit it.

Worth repeating. You nailed it. Israel is the only hope for civilized Lebanese. If Israel loses, Nasrullah swallows the country whole.

Those who support terrorism have been promised a thumping.
Why should Lebanon be surprised? Israel has promised to strike out at terrorists and all who support them, and so has the USA.
