Bleeding heart coverage on MTP for these Lebanese airstrike victims (no suprise). There was absolutely no sympathy or coverage over the vicitims of the Hezbollah rocket strike on the Israeli train station or any other targets.

Glad to see Gillerman laying on the line and calling out Hezbollah's likely use of these people as human shields. There has also been speculation the people in the building were relatives of terrorists.

Gillerman wouldn't be surprised if this was scheduled to coincide with Sec. Rice's appearance in Israel.

If the attack that killed so many women and children was truly far from a military target, then it is not beyond possibility that the Hezzies infiltrated, or got bad intel to the Israeli forces somehow, telling them that it was a rich target. We know that women and children mean nothing to the Hezzies. I can imagine them setting up this building, to create a Beslan-type reaction from the "world".

Gillerman clarifies that saying "totally eliminating Hezbollah" means totally disarmed.

I'm glad Gillerman is holding the line. He stated it beautifully when he said every civilian death on the Lebanese side is a mistake and a tragedy for Israel. Every Israeli death is considered a victory for Hezbollah.

Israeli U.N. Ambassador Dan Gillerman on MTP said that was intention, so Hiz could play up any 'civilian' deaths. He said those civilians may have been held there by Hiz against their will --- [human shields].

I know I shouldn't be surprised but I am always amazed at how the MSM/DBM can always slant even wars just to politically benefit the DNC and their masters.

All I can say is thank goodness the media wasn't intent on documenting every civilian death when the allies bombed civilians and apartment buildings in Germany and Japan.

I would bet Hiz, al-Qaeda and similar terrorist groups actually have PR consultants on their payroll to give them direction in access to media and how-to sway public opinion.

The media also does not seem to want to compare the munitions used, and the differences. The Israelis use the smarter ones, and are not bombing indiscrimently as are the hezzies.

In WWII, we did not have that option on either side. From the reporting of today, only Fox seems to be talking about how the Israelis are warning citizens BEFORE they bomb an area. They have strong rooms in homes for the SAFETY of their citizens. They don't use innocents as human shields.

Even Greg Palkot was talking about all of the children killed, but mentioning that the Israelis always warned civilians before bombing an area.

That may be the PC way to fight a war, but isn't that also telling your enemy that THEY need to leave the area, too?

What a joke....like hatred for Israel in the area ever subsided.

This is the most foolish moral equivalency posed by Russert; he asked the Israeli ambassador if the Israeli campaign against Hezbollah is turning Christian Lebanese people against Israel because, as a reporter said: "no one likes to be bombed."

Imagine asking that question of the US ambassador as we bombed Japanese cities.

Timmy says, in essence, you defended yourself and now everyone hates you even more. Gillerman: what would you have us do when they kidnap our soldiers, etc. Points out that they raise their children to hate Israelis. Doesn't matter much what they do. Gillerman is just doing a wonderful job of explaining the situation.
