In WWII, we did not have that option on either side. From the reporting of today, only Fox seems to be talking about how the Israelis are warning citizens BEFORE they bomb an area. They have strong rooms in homes for the SAFETY of their citizens. They don't use innocents as human shields.
Even Greg Palkot was talking about all of the children killed, but mentioning that the Israelis always warned civilians before bombing an area.
That may be the PC way to fight a war, but isn't that also telling your enemy that THEY need to leave the area, too?
I agree wars cannot be fought PC and in the long run it makes the suffering worse.
We have seen it in Iraq and now in the Lebanon - get the media out and let the army do their job.
