Between watching and typing, I guess I missed that part.
now on THIS you may be spot on... maybe Israel will support the French in this position.....
I don't support it- LOL!
but as you point out- I am not making the decision....
But I still would like you to back up your statement that France is the "ideal choice"...
btw- I so love you! YOU ROCK!
I am very thankful that we can disagree and banter without getting nasty.....You are one of the best here on FR!
#96, that is nothing new with Gabler, he has had BDS, and RDS for many years, and seems to be in a meltdown every week. I stopped watching that show months ago because they never contribute anything constructive and they are all in love with the sound of their own voices. Cal Thomas and Jim Pinkerton are wussies and they reallllllly enjoy hearing themselves talk. If you keep watching you may see Gabler be taken away in a straight jacket or do a Larry O'donnell Rabid dog routine. It seems to be catching. Some Dems imagine that this is winning moderates to their side, and that is probably why they keep Howeird Dean out there crazier and more out of control every speech.
BUMP!!!
Yeah....we could use all the help we can get.
;-)
In the past, the Persian Academy has coined terms to replace English words such as helicopter and mobile phone. Their new equivalents, already used by state media, are rotating wings and companion phone.
But the effort has also triggered many jokes, with one popular sitcom on state television coming up with the term stretchy bite as an alternative to pizza.
I thought she was trying to point out how difficult it is to 'eliminate' the hezzies.
I LOVE YOU!
;-)
wow! that is 2 times today we disagree... and no flaming!
;-)
#101, that is very funny. how will you be able to tell the french surrender flags from the Lebanese? Maybe the French should have ruffles sewed to the edge of theirs. LOL. I know this is serious, but come on.....
He sets up Republican guests by using quotes that are slanted and laddened with leftist opinion... then they play the sucker by responding to it as if it was handed down from God. That's why I find Ann Coulter's take on these swine so refreshing. She assumes right off that their questions are really not meant to be answered. They are meant to create... an illusion.
;-)
I still believe they are the ideal choice, but I am not the one making that decision. Israel must agree to it, so they along with Lebanon have the final say.
France has consistently thwarted America's attempts to use any and all diplomatic means to weaken terrorist....France folds quicker than cheap lawn furniture in the face of conflict...oh- unless it is in the Ivory Coast- one of their money making "colonies".....France has a history of supporting one of the world's most famous terrorists- Yasser.......They were up to their necks in the Oil for Food scandal and did everything they could to protect Saddam.....
Yasser was invited to the WH 13 times under Clinton, more than any other foreign leader. Carter called him, "father of the modern Palestinian nationalist movement. A powerful human symbol and forceful advocate, Palestinians united behind him in their pursuit of a homeland." The US legitimized Arafat. GWB called for a two state solution, the first President to do so.
Arafat and Rabin shared the Nobel Peace Prize in 1994. He was an accepted world figure and you blame France for this? The very fact that France has supported Arafat, aids them in their role in the ME and Lebanon.
France can be useful in achieving our objectives in the ME. I don't have to support everything they have done in order to use them in this process.
TRUST FRANCE TO PROTECT ISRAEL FROM THE HEZZIES? I think not.
Israel must make that decision. The objective is a secure northern border.
TX congressman (R) just on Fox - stating that we are part of the fight against the hezzies. I am not familiar with him, so I don't remember his name. He reminded us of when the hezzies have attacked us.
On the one hand no matter when it comes the world will say Israel took too long and inflicted too much damage. They(Israel) will be branded as the bad guys.
And additionally, when it does come the hezzies will use the interim time to reload weapons wise. Does anyone actually think a lasting peace with sworn enemies of Israel can be achieved under these situations.
The only things the hezzies, hamas,wack/job Iranians and other terror types understand is overt force! Absent that they see weakness. Bottom line is Israel can support whomever it wants regarding a multinational force. It really does not matter!
In the long view of things what matters is that a world wide jihad has been thrown down by radical Islam and temporary peace treaties are just that, temporary.
Flattery will get you everywhere. I'm disarmed. LOL.
So was I. I had a thought in the back of my mind that Gillerman's booker told the MTP people that, if he wasn't allowed to make his points, the IAF would be flying over Timmy's house. I don't know what else would shut him up.
