Six days clean... (Prayer Request/Vanity)

Hi there, everyone.
Excuse the vanity, but I'd really appreciate your prayers and/or positive thoughts tonight. Without going into much detail, after an addiction lasting over five years, I've been completely without this substance for six days now... and counting. I've dreaded this for a while now, and am relieved to find that quitting this addictive substance has been easier then I imagined.
Dearest Mods, please have compassion on me and don't bump my vanity off too soon. I really need the added support from my FRiends here. Thanks!

Stick with it.
I'm 45 days tobacco free(and 1.5 years of less than 5 a day). After a few weeks "it" whatever it may be, will get easier.

six days now... and countingIt's a cliche, but trust me, I've worked with many folks in your situation (and lived with them):
Stop counting.
You're going to stay clean TODAY. That's all you need worry about. It's a mind thing; people who relapse usually begin by thinking things like "Wow, I'm doing so good!" and often end with "Hey, I did it for X days, if I do it just once I can do it again!"
Just worry about today. So far so good, right? Then keep at it. Best of luck...for today. ;)
