At least two or three people shoot.
SEATTLE – At least two people have been shot at the Jewish Federation at 2031 Third Ave. in downtown Seattle. One or two people have been taken into custody but it's not known if they are suspects.
One person was reportedly shot in the abdomen and another in the arm. They are being taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Part of Third Avenue and Second Avenue have been closed to traffic. Police are urging people to stay away from the area. It's not known if more suspects are at large but policemen were seen handcuffing one person and others were searching the area.
At least three people were seen emerging from the building, escorted by police. It's not know if they were hostages.
Medics, escorted by police, have been taking other people from the building.

That Dr. is in Ohio. The "suspected" shooter is from Washington.

I am already uncomfortable that these poor people are being named in the media so they might be targeted, especially the ones quoting the shooter.
It's a fact of life that the names are public record.

I'm sending a link to this thread to a Jewish friend of ours. I tried last week at dinner to warn her, something like this like might happen. she is the typical old time democrat Jewish Mother, and she just rolled her eyes and laughed at me.
Fortunately her husband is a Northern Italian/Swiss, and he is prepared to protect his family and home.

Further to my previous post, the article linked says he graduated medical school in 1994. Were he 30 or 31 years old, he would have been an awfully young medical school graduate! Therefore, the dr. is innocent (whew!)
That kind of post isn't fit for FR.

It's a personal opinion, but it does seem to be right on target, pardon the pun.
Consider this: There are hundreds of thousands, if not millions of them who would say EXACTLY THE SAME ABOUT US.
And they don't fool themselves, or try to be all kumbaya about it and hide it.
This one very fact might be enough to tilt this 'war on terror' (which is really nothing more than a continuation of the SAME war that has been going on for like the last 1400 yeas) IN THEIR FAVOR.
