At least two or three people shoot.
SEATTLE – At least two people have been shot at the Jewish Federation at 2031 Third Ave. in downtown Seattle. One or two people have been taken into custody but it's not known if they are suspects.
One person was reportedly shot in the abdomen and another in the arm. They are being taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Part of Third Avenue and Second Avenue have been closed to traffic. Police are urging people to stay away from the area. It's not known if more suspects are at large but policemen were seen handcuffing one person and others were searching the area.
At least three people were seen emerging from the building, escorted by police. It's not know if they were hostages.
Medics, escorted by police, have been taking other people from the building.

I checked out Orbusmax previously but don't know if it is trustworthy.
I haven't ever caught him misrepresenting anything....like Drudge, he mainly links to other sites and you just need to evaluate those sites based upon their individual reputations. That being said, I've never seen him link to a site that I haven't trusted myself.
BTW, I hope that you are safe and protected at your place of work. Murder and mayhem is bad enough, but murder and mayhem directed against ladies, as in this Seattle incident is lower than low. There's a Ladies' handgun instruction class starting near Olympia in a couple weeks I think. If this sounds interesting I can Freepmail you some info. It's only five dollars as I recall, for two days' instruction, and they supply EVERYTHING.

I think it's true that he was at least planning to attend the protest. I heard about it on the radio but cannot find anything on the web about it.

I don't know if the shooter was deliberately targeting women or if the people around him just happened to be female. If he was, though, it would fit in very well with the patterns and habits of Islamic terrorists.
Oh yeah, hate crime my foot. I guess shooting down people in Seattle is now normal.

Seeing the SPD officers securing a perimeter around Harborview Medical Center armed with AR15s made up my mind. Also recognizing the FBI SWAT team onscene, and hearing the ATF was also there.
I suspect they will find the shooter was indoctrinated at a mosque, and perhaps might have traveled to Afghanistan or maybe one of the Oregon terror training camps.

Well, I hope everyone is on their toes. Between Nasrallah, Ahmadinejad & Zarahiri and their recent comments & threats... I live in Pittsburgh, in a Jewish neighborhood. There have been times when I recall seeing more security than others. Gulf War, after 9/11... Can't remember when, but I hope Jewish Americans ( as well as all of us )are keeping their eyes open.
