At least two or three people shoot.
SEATTLE – At least two people have been shot at the Jewish Federation at 2031 Third Ave. in downtown Seattle. One or two people have been taken into custody but it's not known if they are suspects.
One person was reportedly shot in the abdomen and another in the arm. They are being taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Part of Third Avenue and Second Avenue have been closed to traffic. Police are urging people to stay away from the area. It's not known if more suspects are at large but policemen were seen handcuffing one person and others were searching the area.
At least three people were seen emerging from the building, escorted by police. It's not know if they were hostages.
Medics, escorted by police, have been taking other people from the building.

No argument there -- but the question was (paraphrasing) to find examples of Jews killing first. Of course, there's no real comparison between those guys and the salamikaze animals of today.
The Seattle police will file charges of murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and attempted murder.One reason they may be waiting is to see if any of the wounded women die, and then there will be more murder charges on the booking and that wil save them a lot of paper work. Also the feds need all the supporting info. they can get from relatives to support a federal hate crime charge. It may be that he will be tried federally first, but whatever the case, this POS is in jeapardy of a death sentence on both state and federal counts, with the feds likely getting the execution duty as having superior jurisdiction. In days to come we will see who gets to try him first. He could not be executed until the federal trial is over in any case.
He will likely enter an insanity plea.
But he seemed rational, laying down his weapon and going outside to surrender.
If you go to KING 5 and watch the video "Victims flee Seattle shooting" you can see some of the victims escaping, pretty upclose. Don't know if that helps or not, but perhaps your wife will recognize some of them.

Being in Seattle, I must admit it is a crazy town. But I have family in ND as well. The most notable thing I remember about ND is a giant cow on a hill! To call ND sane only works when you compare it to Seattle (or perhaps Montana, my home state)! I have never met a N. Dakotan who was in the least bit bothered by having a life consisting of: a) cows, b) -40 F winters, c) tornadoes, d) 100 F summers. They are all crazy!
