"Now that I'm in North Dakota...."

How do you like it there? I've lived in Seattle most of my life and pretty much hate it. Moving to a saner place would be awfully nice one day.

Being in Seattle, I must admit it is a crazy town. But I have family in ND as well. The most notable thing I remember about ND is a giant cow on a hill! To call ND sane only works when you compare it to Seattle (or perhaps Montana, my home state)! I have never met a N. Dakotan who was in the least bit bothered by having a life consisting of: a) cows, b) -40 F winters, c) tornadoes, d) 100 F summers. They are all crazy!

It reminds me of we (few remaining) Seattle natives, who tend to get overly hot when it gets above 65 F. and we wonder "what's that hot, bright thing in the sky?" for about two weeks ever year.  The rest of the time we just try not to step in too many puddles   :-)

I don't know anything about cows other than what I've learned on South Park and tornadoes don't sound very friendly, so maybe I wouldn't be very happy there   :-(
