I also need to tell you that pro-independence support in Puerto Rico runs at less than 5%, which is the high water mark for the PR Independence Party after each election since the 60's. But that party is a peaceful political party that participates in the political process in a lawful way.
The radicals that did Castro's dirty work here and Chicago and New York were of another sort. But in a population of close to 4 million, they numbered at less than a 1,000.
Thank God for Ronald Reagan who finally put a stop to that.

Man, this is scary. It's only a matter of time before Venezuala and Iran shut off their oil supplies. There goes 20% of production. Hello $200 a barell or more.

Quick, drop a big MOAB "accidentally" of course - how many chances do you get a twofer?
To: proud_yank
Very sweet indeed. They won't, of course, but we can dream.
Hugo Baby is going to be our big problem here. He already has a large number of Arabs and Iranians in his government and oil facilities, and he's about as crazy as the Prez of Iran, so I think he's definitely going to be the 12th Imam's rep on our shores.

To hurt us? To fight us the only way they can. Heck, think how much money they would make in the long run!

Castro roared all the time - to his own people, and usually for about 6 hours at a shot. The sympathetic US press politely neglected to mention it. However, after the collapse of the USSR, Castro did not have the means to attack us, so in theory, he really didn't matter.
What he did, of course, was work with LatAm lefties to extend his "revolution" beyond the shores of his benighted island. And because the Dems were out there running interference for Castro, our surveillance and other programs were reduced to practically zero. Everything that has happened there has taken us by surprise, and State has been totally ineffectual in its response.

Liberalism is a cancer.
I don't worry much about it abroad, as I do the lefties at home.

Snakes of a scale slime together.
. . . . plotting the downfall of all that's decent and good; democratic, Republican . . .
all, of course, to further speed things to the tyrannical global government . . . with various factions imagining that they'll be chief of that.
Especially the Chinese . . .

"...will discuss bilateral cooperation and issues of mutual interest,..."
Like discussing placing nuclear weapons in the United States' backyard with no need for ICBMs for delivery? I wouldn't be surprised one bit if the subject came up. As a team, those two are very dangerous, would be a shame for something to happen to them though /s

I wonder when those talks will come along. Be a shame if something happened to disrupt their meeting! DU would be in tears.

Hopefully it will wake up some people in Chavez's own country that Chavez is going to lead them straight to hell. The folks have been awake for a long time there, they've been trying to figure out how to assassinate him. I have lots of discussions with Venezuelans here in the states...they tell me when and if they get him...they plan to blame it on W.

Thanks CPT Clay!!! I keep adding as much as I can. I have gotten a few hateful troll emails and some idiots on DU publicly rant about my tag line, though they can never refute me (especially with Daily Kos and Stormfront.org using each other for "death to Israel" quotes among MANY other examples).
