I still think a few palms would spruce up the place! ;-)

Yeah, some sagos would be nice.

Hello all. Thought I'd check in before going back to work. Tuesday is my last day, so I've been staying until eleven for the last week and a half trying to finish up some projects. Been insane.

Hope to catch up with you all soon, but I just had to check out the lemonade stand video. President Bush is such a great kid person.

The best part of the video was when he called the press "camera dogs." (I believe his words were, "Any of you camera dogs want one?"). I'd say his Dubya spunk is in full swing. He looked like he really enjoyed himself.

My sister got married on Saturday. Aside from one drunk outlaw relative beating up guests at the reception, making the groom cry, and stealing part of my nephew's car seat, all went well. My sister said it was the best day of her life. My brother-in-law does some work for a guy who owns a helicopter, so they got to go from the church to the reception in the chopper. (Needless to say, they didn't need the limo, so my other sister and I rode over with a few other members of the wedding party). More details later.

The Kerry part of the video at c-span.org comes around 3 hours and 22 minutes. He's a total yokel in it, with a chickiebabe whispering answers in his ear. Kerry couldn't even get to the meeting on time. Bolton kept having to say, "As I said earlier today...I'll have to refer you back to the notes"

My favorite quotes so far:
K: "Let's come back and be precise, because this is a precise world we live in."
K::"You're losing me a little bit."
He seemed like he was burping nd a bit drunk.
K:"The speci-fi-cic-city of..."
K: We're not going to resolve it here.
B: I guess THAT'S right.

We didn't have FTA in school. I didn't know you were a teacher. :) I am going back to school to get recertified, I let my certificate lapse over the last few years.

The FFA originally was all male, but about 20-30 years ago, more or less, opened membership to girls. Now, as you can see, females are predominant in FFA leadership posts. Boys will shrink from opposing girls.

EVIL ... it's painted on her face, and stains her soul. Dear Lord, save us from this!

It absolutely sickens me to see the Rats fawning, faking their smiles, glad handing around and to W .. the snakes. They're not worthy to breathe the same air as W, and he beams his godly ways, spreading goodness in the midst of despicable human beings. God love and bless him.

Peggy Noonan has a chip on her shoulder...for whatever reason...most likely bitterness for not being invited in to President Bush's circle.

I'm such a goof. I did what I always accuse my clients of doing...not reading all of what I send. I didn't go past Dr. Rice playing piano...I didn't click on the Lemonade Stand video. WOW. I love our President. First, he makes sure OTHERS have some, BEFORE himself. Then, he BUYS more glasses than he gave out. Then, he suggests a picture and even signs that kid's sign. --Nice work on the part of the person that held his lemonade for him, too!

I LOVE OUR PRESIDENT! Wha a class act!

***The black groups IMHO do more harm for race relations than anything else.***

"There is another class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs -- partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs." Booker T. Washington

I was shocked at the very act of "renewing the contract."

Why has not this been done ONCE AND FOR ALL?

It's a shame on all of us that this is even brought up for discussion.

Do we vote on any other racial group to vote or not vote?
