Actually I like the decor, it reminds me of some the photos I have seen of the VP official residence that is mainly white though I must admit the curtains and carpet are a bit dated.

Did you read the article by Peggy Noonan today complaining about the President calling Condi by her first name in public? I can't believe she and others are actually BOTHERED by that! She sure seems to be doing a good job, no matter how she's addressed. I'm sure if it bothered HER she would have told the President a long time ago.

Me too. You'd think we'd be WAY beyond that by now. For goodness sake, we're all the same. It's really starting to bug me how Blacks have BET TV, and the NAACP and Black this show and Black that cause.... It's those that have to have these organizations that are racist. I don't see a person's color...unless it's the difference between RED and BLUE.

ROTFL! You and your orange!! There is a nice design in the carpet and drapes, and that darker color would be good as an accent. It needs to be brought in, maybe in chairs. Wouldn't a set of sofas in that color in raw silk be lovely? I don't know what it looks like when folks are not in there, so I don't know what furniture is usually there.

Well, time for me to call my Mom. She's 85 and lives alone, so I call her every night. It's gotta be tough to not have the love of your life with you anymore, so I want to try and be there for her as much as I can.

Imagine if a an organisation wanted a White TV show there would be an outcry. They would be accused of being fascist and racist etc etc.

The black groups IMHO do more harm for race relations than anything else.
