Mike needs to be up by at least 4 in order to win... If it's not close, they can't cheat.

Standing next to fellow senator Patty "Day Care Centers" Murray, Cantwell looks almost competent in comparison.

The last five Senate polls from Washington (including this one) have Cantwell up 4 or 5 points. That's going all the way back to May 8th.
It will be interesting to see in McGavick can make up that ground even though the race has been basically stable for 2.5 months.

Politics in Washington State is a JOKE!....Just look at the disaster that got Christine Haywire elected....Just keep recounting the ballots until she wins!

The race is holding steady now, with Cantwell slightly ahead. But she remains among the most vulnerable DemocRAT Senators.

The poll is skewed. 64% of respondents were democrat and independents or "other" parties (47% and 17%). If she only has a 4 pt lead with that kind of weighting, I think she is vulnerable.
Then again, King County hasn't counted the ballots yet.
To: Jerry Attrick
She is vulnerable, and Yes KING CO will be a Player. I think alot of Local GOP expect her to pull it out. Mike is a RINO, but hey you gotta start somewhere. I am waiting for '08, if ROSSI comes out to play,Chrissie's #s are still in the Gutter, I really feel he can pull it off.

If Mike wants a pointer on that last little percent, I know my neighbor is voting for Cantwell because she's pushing to repeal the widow penalty. He claims she's the only one that cares. I won't say what I really think about my neighbor's views on politics (let's suffice to say tin foil hat). But still, I suspect that maybe there are other ex-military folks around that would vote single-issue like that. If anyone has his ear, tell him to add that little thing to his platform.
To: Clintonfatigued
The only way Cantwell can loose is if the Democrats get over confident and don't show up to vote. Unfortunately Washington is pretty much a "lost cause" state.
Right now I would bet on Cantwell winning by 9 points. If she wins by less than six I would be stunned.
(btw...I would love to be wrong)

Why not let Adams or Lincoln or Skagit County count King County ballots?

Why have a guy in the same position as Al Gore. It will just be a joke. They need to get someone who can beat Gregour (sp?). Don't do the same candidate who could not even win the first time. You sound like the snotty democrats who lost to President Bush...let's have Al Gore run again because he got ripped...no thank you. It will not work.
To: cmsgop
Well Maria just has to keep it close enough to steal...she doesn't actually have to win the election.
