Olmert: 'West Bank withdrawal still on' (Egypt and Jordan express reservations)

JERUSALEM – Even with a war in Lebanon after withdrawal from the country's border six years ago and with ground troops forced to return to Gaza following evacuation from the territory 11 months ago, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said yesterday Israel will forge ahead with his plan to pull out of Judea and Samaria.

"We will yet evacuate communities and it is important to me to complete this chapter as soon as possible so that we will be able to continue as a strong and united nation for the challenges that await us," Olmert told a group of Israelis evacuated last summer from the Gaza Strip.

For Hashem's sake, Olmert. Give it up. I mean, give up giving it up. Every concession you issue is just a another provocation to these nut-cases. Walk up and smell the Qassams.

This is nothing short of psychotic. It reminds me of the Peanuts cartoons, Lucy pulls the football away every time and Charlie Brown keeps coming back and landing flat on his back. In this case nothing funny. Kassams are a small part of the problem. With additional borders, it will not be long before much heavier and more accurate missles will be in the West Bank.

Israeli leaders are consciously choosing to surround themselves inside the Auscwhitz borders with people who are preparing to exterminate them. There is no precedent for this insanity.

What Israel needs to do is make a declaration that they will not withdraw from one inch of territory until every Arab government and terrorist organization proclaims that Israel has a right to exist, and all organizations renounce terrorism and turn in their arms. And forget about ever being a Palestinian state, unless an Arab country gives it to them.

The man is clinically insane. Ehud, you freakin' putz, turn on the damned TV and see what's going on in your own country!

You've GOT to know that something's wrong when people who don't particularly care if you live or die advise you not to make that next step. Obviously, several million of Little Ehud's neurons are misfiring. He should be removed from office.

(Egypt and Jordan express reservations)

When Israel announces its intention to abandon land, and not even the Arabs think it's a good idea, then maybe, just maybe, you need to run your numbers again.

P.S. It just occurred to me that perhaps Olmert's intention is to force Jordan into a war with the P.A. If so, that's not without merit, but it's a very dangerous game to play.
