No kidding.

It's more the fault of the local bureaucrats whom we filed the renewal applications with.They sat on the applications for 10 days,well a week,before sending it to the State Department.We filed on the 6TH of June which was plenty of time for the passports to get here,but the State department didn't receive the applications until the 15TH of June.

That is what ticks me off the most.

Hmmm....I'll have to watch for that and surprise him.:)

He sent away for a bunch of DVD's..................they arrived here the other day.........it's actually all South Park, all 9 seasons (a show I loathe but he loves)..........he asked me to put them in a CD wallet and send them to him. So today I packed them all in the wallet, and I bought him a bag of toys (he seems to enjoy those silly, goofy little things I send now & then, like frisbees, nerf balls, etc.)........and I will throw in our local newspaper and all of the mail he's received since last time I sent a package, and get it in the mail on Monday.

Written in 1912 by Grant Clarke, Lewis Muir and Maurice Abrahams this song was revived in 1943 in an Alis Faye movie "Hello, Frisco, Hello" and by Betty Hutton in 1945, in "Incendiary Blonde." There are dozens of versions from Lucille Ball to Alvin and the Chipmonks. Jo Stafford had a popular version and of course this western-swing rendition which was always my favorite ...
