The war on terror will only be over after a Muslim civil war.

The profound division between the most violent Muslim enemies of America and Israel may be one reason Arab capitals have not yet exploded in rage about Israel's bombardment of Lebanon.

The profound fact about the Muslim enemies of the entire world is that those in the Arab capitals know that the leader of Iran is close to having nukes, and is crazier than an outhouse rat.

"On the one hand, a chance to join in the resistance against the Jewish state presents a rare opportunity for zealots who revere the Palestinian Arab martyrs that have sacrificed their lives to kill Jewish civilians"

I'm sure these cowardly, uneducated, adolescent, masturbating Arab @ssholes are leaving Iraq in droves to the Lebanese border to fight with their comrades..

"Fatwa""

I looked the word up in Webster's, and it means:

"To suppress a sudden urge to pass gas in a public place, eg like on a church pew."

Used in a sentence:

"Little Jimmy's fatwa in church this morning, saved the whole family from embarrassement."

What a conundrum! The Muslims can't decide whether to kill Jews and Americans, or each other.

Does anyone doubt the endless bloodletting of an Islamic Caliphate?

It must be confusing being in a religion where there are 10,000 Popes free to make edicts.

One of Saudi Arabia's leading Wahhabi sheiks, Abdullah bin Jabreen has issued a strongly worded religious edict, or fatwa, declaring it unlawful to support, join or pray for Hezbollah, the Shiite militias lobbing missiles into northern Israel.

For the first time in history, we have Arabs condemning Hezbollah. And people say the Middle East can't change.

The surprising move demonstrates that Sunni Muslim fundamentalists in the Middle East are deeply divided over whether Moslems should support Hezbollah, Iran's Shiite proxies in the war raging in Lebanon.

While the Gulf's ascetic Wahhabi sects, who are closer to the ethnic fighting between Sunnis and Shiites in Iraq, have opposed Hezbollah in its stand against Israel's forces, other Sunni fundamentalist groups, such as the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, have pledged their solidarity. On Friday, the brothers will host a rally in support of Hezbollah at Cairo's most influential mosque, Al-Azhar.

It's not that surprising. The "ascetic Wahhabi sects" are bought and paid for by the House of Saud, who realize Iran has designs on both their oilfields and the Kabaa concession stands, while "activists" such as the Muslim Brotherhood see other terrorist groups as having a common goal: overthrowing regimes and destoying Israel.

The shiites see Iran leading them to glorious blood-soaked revenge for centuries of Sunni persecution to prepare the way of that Mahdi in the well.

Too bad we can't just sic them all on each other, without the threat of nuclear radiation.

"the imperial ambitions of Iran"

I think a large number of Americans don't understand this concept. And, it doesn't help when articles like this downplay it so well!

Iran wants to bee the "ruler" of the Middle East because they know thay can choke the US through control of the crude. They believe they can achieve this with a plea to the "Arab street" using a common ideology (Islam).

From what we've seen of the "Arab street", they are positioned to make huge advances toward this end. Palestine, Syria and Lebanon (by proxy) are Iran's Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania.

One of the physicians in my practice is a Lebanese muslim. Today he was talking with a group of people about why the Lebanese population loves Hezbollah - as an example, he told us about how his brother, an ophthalmologist in Lebanon, was run out of business when Hezbollah opened up a free clinic next door from his (it's hard to compete with free).
