Michael Savage went weiner on Israel. Earlier this week, he claimed that the "Palestinians" (who are really just Arabs) are descendants of the Philistines and the Canaanites and that they had once been the rulers of Eretz Yisrael since "time immemorial" (a phrase he stole from Joan Peters, since she wrote on this issue), and that their claim to "Palestine" is equal to that of the Jewish people.
He also blasted Israel for overreacting and killing "innocent civilians."

I imagine that phrase might have been used once or twice before. maybe he should have told israel to "exercise restraint" and loosen border controls like condi.
But the 'sea people' (Philistines) were not originally from Israel.
I heard it too. What was his great idea? Coddling the enemy like we do in Iraq? He doesn't seem too happy with that approach either.
Levin is the best, but we don't get him in LA. Savage really can't stand anyone in the business. He just slams everyone. He thinks by slamming everyone it establishes him as an independent thinker. He is just an independent slammer.
Savage is a pompous bore. His maniacal diatribe today lacked intellectual heft and dissolved into incomprehensible German heavy metal while Savage mercifully melted into a wet puddle of self assumed pseudo-geopolitical knowledge.
Teddy licked the pool and Savage slowly disappeared just before I hit the OFF button.
When I'm in the car and Savage is on, the on/off button sure gets a work out. Savage was definitely out of it today and the Off button was used.
Me either, I can't say I disagree with him much, but his way of conveying his message is simply psychotic. It doesn't serve us well to align ourselves with someone who can easily be compared to any of the far left radicals we condemn
I've pretty much given up on Savage. He almost never gives his callers a chance to really make their point.
I don't think I've ever heard anyone so smart sound so incoherent.

LOL...Exactly. A good friend of mine for about forty years is a jolly guy and he's always said it takes fewer muscles to smile than to frown, I believe him. :-)

He attacked Drudge yesterday about his ratings being supposedly down. Now two days in a row he is less hawkish on Israel and apologetic for the Lebanese people.
I think he will make a complete turnaround at the next moslem outrage and get back into super hawk form. Someone needs to tell him that the people of Lebanon elected 23 seat for Hezbollah and that their elected PM placed 2 hezbollah members on his cabinet.
Nevertheless my hope is that Israel expands its wrath towards Syria and Iran so that our WOT can finally start attacking Iran and Syria.

I dont wnat civilians killed too, but I think anyone condemning Israel should let us know what they propose instead. Let Hezbollah off the hook?
