Maybe the IDF should get some advice from the
Tunnel Rats?

You have to wonder how many of these tunnels cross the border.

I was just wondering if maybe we shouldnt hire Hizbollah to finish up the big dig, I havent heard of a Hizbollah tunnel that leaked or the roof fell in on . I am sure they wouldnt mind negotiating with their friend Ted Kennedy .

Looks like both sides had plans. Obviously they are not Democrats. But that being said. This could be a bloody run for Israel. Keep them in your prayers Freepers!

120 foot deep bunkers. Now we need a noah type flood.

Can the bunkers be detected in another way? Easy solution:
Pour water in the highest area you can find to flood them out.
Note where the rat holes are.
Fill 'em with cement!
Note: If you're in a hurry, skip step 1. Let them suffocate.
Cheers!

Thank god the UN cease fire put a check on Hizbullshi* The 'cease fire' resolution also called for the U.N. to disarm Hezbollha. Once again the U.N. fails and people die.

Hey, Olmert and other "Kum-bay-ah" lefties:
What possible peaceful purpose is there in a network of underground bunkers?
Hint: Time to come to the light...
Cheers!

They are going to have to come up with a way to detect these things. It seems to be a way of life over there. First it was Saddam and his underground bunkers and OBL and his tunnel systems. We have to find a way to not only detect them, but collapse them as well.

They might be hiding the captured soldiers in there.
I think a good idea is to pump in concentrated marijuana smoke, then go in when everyone is comfortably stoned (I was going to suggest hashish, but they used to feed to "assassins")
Or maybe that knockout gas the Russians used to storm the theater in Moscow.

Perhaps we can look for plumes of CO2 enriched atmosphere coming from the ground and moving with the wind. Supposedly many insect pest can find their 'hosts' by following the CO2 plume.

I have seen no proof of this, but I heard we are working on a high decibel weapon that omits a loud noise amplified in a tunnel that will paralyze a man for twenty minutes. Like I said, I don't know that it is true, but ...

More of Nasrallah's promised "surprises". That's why the IDF isn't storming into South Lebanon, guns blazing. Its honeycombed with tunnels and booby-trapped. Israel does not want to face massive casualties in the rear if she has to send in a ground force. So they've been doing reconaissance work and they don't like what they've seen. Its going to considerably longer before Israel sends in a large ground force than any one expected.

More twilight zone-like comparisons to DUNE.
They need a sandworm thumper to bring the beast to the surface.
